Movement Creates Clarity: Stop Waiting and Take the Next Step

Send us Fan Mail Have you ever found yourself waiting for the perfect moment to finally move forward? Maybe you've been waiting until you feel more confident, have more money, know exactly what to do, or can see the entire path ahead. The truth is, most of us spend far too much time waiting for certainty when God is simply asking us to take the next step. The clarity you're looking for often doesn't come before movement—it comes because of it. In this episode of You Are More, Amy challenges the idea that confidence comes first. After more than three decades in business and a lifetime of walking by faith, she's discovered that confidence isn't something you wait to feel before acting. It's something that's built through consistent action. Every time you choose courage over comfort, every time you honor a commitment to yourself, and every time you take one small step forward, your confidence begins to grow. Amy also explores one of the greatest obstacles to purpose: comfort. While comfort feels safe, it can quietly become a cage that keeps us from the very opportunities God has placed in front of us. Looking back at the Israelites, she reminds us how easy it is to romanticize what is familiar rather than stepping into the unknown where growth happens. Real transformation rarely occurs inside our comfort zones. It happens when we trust God enough to move before we have every answer. Throughout the episode, Amy shares practical encouragement for anyone feeling stuck. She explains that our future is not built by one dramatic leap but by hundreds of faithful "yeses." A phone call. An application. A workout. An invitation. A difficult conversation. These small acts of obedience compound over time and eventually create an entirely different life. The goal isn't perfection—it's consistency. If you've been waiting for the right time, this episode is your reminder that there may never be a perfect moment. God often reveals the path one step at a time. Your responsibility isn't to see the whole staircase—it's simply to take the next step. Because movement creates clarity, clarity creates opportunity, and opportunity opens doors you could never have imagined. Today is the perfect day to stop waiting and start moving. In This Episode Why movement creates clarityThe myth of waiting for perfect timingHow confidence is built through consistent actionWhy comfort can quietly become a cageThe danger of staying where life feels familiarHow one decision at a time shapes your futureWhy consistency beats motivationThe power of honoring commitments to yourselfHow to stop waiting and start walking by faithThree practical action steps to move into your next season Connect With Us: Website: https://www.youaremore.comJoin The 6AM Club Bible Study! The Thoughts That Quietly Control Your Life

Send us Fan Mail What sentence have you been repeating to yourself this week? Maybe you haven't even noticed it. But I promise you this: the conversations you're having with yourself are shaping far more than your mood. They're shaping your beliefs, your decisions, and ultimately the direction of your life. We often think it's one big decision that changes everything, but more often than not, it's the small thoughts we rehearse day after day that quietly determine where we're headed. The good news is this: if you don't like where your life is going, you don't necessarily need a different destination—you may simply need a different conversation. Throughout this episode, I want to help you identify the thoughts you've been repeating and ask one simple question: Are they producing faith, or are they producing fear? Because every thought is working. It's either moving you closer to the life God has for you or reinforcing the very things that are keeping you stuck. So many of us live beneath what God has called us to because we've accepted limiting beliefs as truth. Maybe you've been telling yourself you'll never get there. Maybe you've convinced yourself you aren't talented enough, experienced enough, or that your past has already determined your future. Friend, those aren't God's thoughts toward you. His Word is filled with promises that are stronger than every lie you've believed. The challenge isn't just recognizing the lie—it's replacing it with truth until that truth becomes your new identity. One of the simplest examples I share in this episode is changing one phrase. Instead of saying, "I have to," begin saying, "I get to." That one word changes your perspective. Gratitude begins replacing obligation. Hope replaces heaviness. It's amazing how one small shift in your thinking can completely change the way you experience your day. That's how transformation begins—one thought, one decision, one conversation at a time. I truly believe you are not stuck. You're not finished. You're not defined by your past or your current circumstances. God has created you for this moment, and He's placed something inside of you that this world needs. My prayer is that this episode helps you recognize the thoughts that have been quietly controlling your life and gives you the courage to replace them with God's truth. Because when your thoughts begin to change, your life will begin to follow. Remember—you are on this earth for more, and I'm cheering you on every step of the way. What Will Your Life Leave Behind? A Conversation About Faith, Family, and Legacy with Melissa Wienands-Guinto

Send us Fan Mail What do you hope the people closest to you will remember about the way you lived? Long after accomplishments, titles, and possessions fade, the values we model continue shaping our families and the generations that follow us. Legacy is not only something we leave at the end of our lives. It is something we are building through the words we speak, the choices we make, and the way we treat people every day. In this episode of You Are More, Amy sits down with her younger sister, Melissa Wienands-Guinto, for a heartfelt and honest conversation about faith, family, generosity, perseverance, and living with the end in mind. Together, they reflect on the lessons their parents modeled throughout their childhood—from working hard and honoring commitments to remaining hopeful when life becomes difficult. Amy and Melissa also share how watching their parents live generously shaped their own relationship with money and giving. Their parents did not wait until they had an abundance before helping others. They simply used what they had to make a difference. That example taught both sisters that money is neutral, but money connected to a meaningful purpose can become a powerful tool. It also showed them that generosity does not only change the person receiving it. It often transforms the giver, too. The conversation explores the importance of words, curiosity, and choosing compassion over judgment. Melissa shares why she wants her children and students to remain curious about people, especially during a time when division can make it easy to assume the worst. Amy reminds us that a simple shift in language can change an entire interaction. Instead of responding to someone’s mistakes with frustration, we can pause, offer grace, and remember that we may not know what they are carrying. Amy and Melissa close by discussing what legacy truly means to them. For Melissa, it includes faithfulness, meaningful work, courage, and continuing to live with a tender heart rather than becoming cynical. For Amy, legacy is a guiding force that helps her determine what deserves her time and what she needs to let go. When we begin with the end in mind, many distractions lose their power, and our priorities become clearer. This conversation is not meant to be morbid. It is an invitation to live intentionally. Your life is speaking right now through the faith you demonstrate, the generosity you model, the relationships you prioritize, and the courage you show in difficult seasons. Hit play and consider this question: What do you want your life to leave behind? In This Episode, You’ll Discover The work ethic and perseverance Amy and Melissa learned from their parentsWhy honoring your commitments matters, even when something becomes difficultHow faith communities can provide consistency, connection, and hopeWhy the words spoken over children can shape their beliefs for decadesHow generosity creates an impact far beyond the original giftWhy Amy believes money connected to purpose is powerfulHow curiosity can help us move from judgment to compassionWhy changing your response can completely shift an interactionHow health challenges can bring purpose and legacy into clearer focusWhat it means to live with the end in mindWhy courage sometimes means simply getting up and facing another day Connect With Us: Website: https://www.youaremore.comJoin The 6AM Club Bible Study! Delayed Dreams: What to Do When Nothing Seems to Change

Send us Fan Mail Have you ever found yourself wondering if anything is ever going to change? You've prayed. You've believed. You've done all the things you know to do. You thought God even promised... And yet the situation still feels stuck. In this episode, I want to encourage you with a simple truth: There is a day it turns. Recently, my mom experienced something that reminded me of this. For nearly two years she struggled with debilitating side effects after a major medical event. She sought help. She followed instructions. She did everything she knew to do. And then one day, she made another phone call. That phone call led to a new conversation, a new perspective, and ultimately a new path forward. It reminded me that sometimes breakthrough doesn't come because we quit. Breakthrough comes because we stayed faithful long enough to see the next opportunity. I've seen this in my own life too. I've struggled with physical pain that seemed like it would never end. I've faced situations that felt delayed. I've believed for things that took much longer than I thought they would. But over and over again I've discovered the same thing: If you stay in the game, there is a day when the season shifts. In this episode, I talk about: Why patient endurance produces victoryHow to build faith when you're waitingThe importance of rehearsing God's faithfulnessWhy faith is the currency of the KingdomHow to stay encouraged when breakthrough feels delayedWhy consistency matters more than intensityMost people quit too soon. They stop praying. They stop believing. They stop moving. But God works with movement. Faith requires action. So if you're in a season where you're tired, discouraged, or wondering if anything is ever going to change, I want to remind you: There is an end. Your expectation will not be cut off. Your season will shift. Stay faithful. Stay consistent. Stay in the game. Because one day you'll look back and realize the breakthrough was already on its way. You truly are more! Flip the Narrative: Stop Speaking Defeat and Start Declaring Life

Send us Fan Mail Have you ever caught yourself describing the same frustrating circumstance over and over again? Maybe it’s your health. Your finances. Your business. Your relationships. Your energy. You talk about it. You explain it. You track it. You think about it all day long. And then one day, you realize: If I don’t shift this, I may keep creating more of the very thing I don’t want. That happened to me recently. I had been feeling physically exhausted, and I found myself talking about it constantly. I was tracking my sleep, watching my readiness scores, and explaining to people why I felt the way I felt. Then I heard one clear phrase: “Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’” And honestly? It felt like a wake-up call. There are moments when we have to stop rehearsing the problem and start speaking the promise. The Bible says that life and death are in the power of the tongue. That means our words matter. We cannot speak exhaustion, defeat, lack, and confusion every single day and then expect to wake up energized, hopeful, and ready to move forward. This isn’t about pretending the pain doesn’t exist. It isn’t about denying reality. It’s about refusing to let the circumstance write the script for your future. If you don’t know what to do in your business, stop repeating, “I have no idea what to do.” Instead, remind yourself: God gives wisdom liberally. I have the mind of Christ. My steps are ordered. If your health feels depleted, stop constantly declaring that you’re tired and worn out. Start saying: Every day, I’m getting stronger. My body is renewing. I’m taking the steps that support the future I want. If your finances feel tight, don’t let lack become your language. Speak provision. Speak wisdom. Speak increase. Then take the action steps that line up with those words. Your spirit is always listening. And your words have a way of shaping what your mind notices, how you act, and the path you begin to walk. So here’s my challenge for you: Go seven days without grumbling and complaining. When you catch yourself repeating the old narrative, stop. Flip the script. Say what God says. Speak life over the barren places. Speak wisdom over confusion. Speak strength over weakness.  Speak provision over lack. Don’t get sloppy with your words. Because eventually, you will eat the fruit of what you keep speaking. And I want that fruit to be good. You truly are more! Don’t Go Back to Egypt: Breaking Free From Old Patterns and Moving Forward

Send us Fan Mail Have you ever found yourself wanting to go back to something you already know you’ve outgrown? Maybe it’s an old relationship. An old habit. A scarcity mindset. A way of thinking that feels familiar, even though it keeps you small. This morning, I sat down in my chair and heard one clear phrase in my spirit: Don’t go back to Egypt. And I knew immediately what it meant. In the Bible, Egypt wasn’t just a place. It represented bondage, captivity, limitation, and survival. The Israelites physically left Egypt in one night, but it took much longer to get the mindset of Egypt out of them. And honestly? I think we all have places like that. We can leave a toxic relationship but still carry toxic thinking. We can leave scarcity but still make every decision from fear. We can leave insecurity but still crave validation from everyone around us. We can step into freedom but still feel pulled backward by familiarity. That’s the danger. Sometimes bondage feels safer simply because it’s predictable. Freedom feels unfamiliar. Growth feels uncomfortable. The wilderness feels uncertain. But discomfort does not mean you’re going in the wrong direction. In this episode, I’m talking about how to stop romanticizing the very things God delivered you from and how to renew your mind for the next season of your life. Because you cannot sustain a promised-land life with a slave mentality. You have to think differently. Speak differently.  Expect differently.  And sometimes, you have to bless the past while deciding it no longer belongs in your future. I also share a personal moment when I realized I was being drawn back toward a relationship from my past. There was nothing wrong with the person, but I knew it wasn’t where my future was. And sometimes that’s the hardest part: recognizing that something can be good, meaningful, and valuable for a season without being meant to continue forever. If you’ve been circling the same mountain, revisiting the same fear, or feeling tempted to shrink back into what’s comfortable, this episode is for you. Your future self will thank you for moving forward. Your future generations will thank you for moving forward. And the life God has for you is too important to spend staring into the rearview mirror. Don’t go back to Egypt. Keep putting one foot in front of the other. Keep renewing your mind. Keep moving forward. You truly are more! The Gravitational Pull Toward Average (And How to Break It)

Send us Fan Mail I want to talk to you today about something that is constantly happening around us…The gravitational pull toward average. Because whether you realize it or not, there’s always pressure trying to pull you into mediocrity. Average thinking. Average effort. Average expectations. Average faith. And if you do nothing intentionally…the drift is inevitable. In this episode, I break down why no one accidentally becomes extraordinary. Nobody unintentionally fulfills purpose. Nobody coasts into calling. The truth is you were never created to blend in. You were created to shine. We look at Matthew 5 and the powerful reminder that we are called to be salt and light in this earth. Salt changes environments. Light changes atmospheres. Neither one conforms to its surroundings they transform them. And that’s what you are called to do too.But here’s the challenge: The world constantly tries to normalize compromise, passivity, fear, and comfort. “Don’t stand out.” “Don’t be too bold.” “Lower your standards.” “Just fit in.” But God says the opposite. Shine. In this episode, I talk about: The slow drift toward average and how it happensWhy subtle compromise is more dangerous than dramatic failureThe difference between conformity and transformationHow Caleb carried a “different spirit”Why your environment matters more than you thinkAnd how to actively resist the pull toward mediocrityBecause average is never something people choose intentionally. It’s where drift takes them. And if you want to walk fully in your purpose… you have to become intentional. Intentional with your thoughts. Intentional with your standards. Intentional with your faith. Intentional with who you allow to shape your thinking. I believe this with everything in me: The world does not need a watered-down version of you. It needs your light. Your boldness. Your obedience. Your conviction. So today, I want you to ask yourself— Where have I started settling? Where have I started drifting? And what would happen if I chose to fully follow God again with a different spirit? Because you were never created to be average. You were created to influence environments, carry light, and walk in purpose 🤍 Connect With Us: Website: https://www.youaremore.comJoin The 6AM Club Bible Study!
