When Joy first read them as a girl THE VERSES ON EVE AND ADAM in the English translations seemed to NOT FIT with the whole of Scripture. She prayed and asked God to teach her about them when she had the opportunity. In France, doing doctoral research, she looked deeper into those Hebrew words in Genesis 2-3.     Dr. Joy Fleming introduces Dr. Holloran, President of American Bible Society in Philadelphia, who accepts the 2026 Tru316 Medallion Award. Dr. Holloran previously served as COO of Wycliffe Bible Translators in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Joy then introduces Tru316 Day Keynote Speaker Dr. Bev Nyberg, former State Department Official and former missionary to Africa. Dr. Nyberg directed the PEPFAR program providing emergency care for AIDS victims and their families in Africa, serving under President George Bush and President Barack Obama.
