Each month we take turns to tell stories from our homelands - Cheryl Scottish born and bred where haggis is NOT actually an animal and Marti from the land down under where no prawns have ever been thrown on a barbie, it needs to be said!     Halloween Special Part 4 with Ishbel Benzie

    This week, we welcome Ishbel Benzie, a physiotherapist turned transformational coach, to chat about the world of science and spiritual healing and whether they really need to be kept in separate corners.  There's also a lot of "witchy talk!" Ishbel shares how Reiki, hypnosis, and past-life work became part of her practice, and talks about heart healing, creating a sense of safety, and helping people work through what they’ve been carrying. We also get into ancestral trauma and the idea that some patterns might echo across generations. Big topic for a chat that starts with “so, tell us about your work”! Then there’s the witch wound: fear of being seen, speaking up, or trusting your own gifts. Ishbel shares a striking story about a tree she connects with a past-life memory, and we talk about witch trials, women’s healing knowledge, and how history might still shape our relationship with intuition.     Halloween Special with Wayne from Eerie Edinburgh

    Welcome to our first spooky season episode & who better to kick off with than one of our good friends and podcast favourite, Wayne from Eerie Edinburgh, talking all things ghosty in the run up to his new book out in time for Halloween called The Night Shift - the title is creepy enough for me.     The Murder of Margaret Fleming

    The Westfield Shopping Centre Murders - Joel Cauchi

We look at the story of Joel Cauchi, the 40-year-old man who killed six people and injured ten others in just a matter of minutes, and the questions that followed about his deteriorating mental health, missed opportunities for intervention and why the majority of his victims were women. We also head down the very dark rabbit hole of incel culture — where it came from, how online communities became increasingly misogynistic, and the violence that has been linked to the ideology.     The Marree Man | Australia's Giant Desert Geoglyph, Our 5th Birthday Episode & A Big Announcement

Stretching over 4 kilometres (2.5 miles) across a remote desert plateau, this enormous geoglyph appeared without warning in 1998. Visible only from the air! How was something this enormous carved into one of the most isolated parts of Australia without anyone noticing? Was it an elaborate art project? A military prank? The work of an eccentric artist? Or is there another explanation entirely?
