    Episode 219: Turning 56

Turning 56 has me looking back at a year that changed far more than I expected. I’m sharing nine things I’ve learned about disappointment, unresolved situations, solitude, calling, creativity, hearing God, boundaries, forgiveness, and becoming more myself without becoming less loving. This year has taught me that growth doesn’t always look like arriving—it can look like becoming more discerning, morehonest, and more willing to trust God with what I can’t control. I’m still very much in process, but I’m not where I was a year ago, and that’s worth noticing. BecomingIf you’re a woman in your 20s—or love someone who is—Becoming is a six-week guidebook for growing closer to God, yourself, and others. It’s designed to help women ask better questions, hear God more clearly, and learn to live from the truth that they are already fully loved. Learn more about Becoming. Live Differently Live Differently is a guide for women who are ready to stop living from fear, old patterns, and the expectations of others—and start living from freedom, truth, and the love of God. It’s about becoming more fully yourself while staying rooted in Christ. Reflection QuestionsWhere have I grown or changed over the past year, even if I’m still very much in process? Am I carrying someone else’s disappointment as though itmeans I’ve done something wrong? Is there something unresolved in my life that I’m trying toohard to fix or force? Where might God be inviting me into more solitude, rest, orspace to listen? Is there something new God may be putting in front of me that I haven’t yet had the courage to pursue? How might my creativity be part of the way God has called meto serve? Where have I mistaken boundaries or self-care forselfishness? Is there a relationship where I could love someone while alsochanging my expectations, access, or level of pursuit? What would it look like for me to become more myself without becoming less loving? When I look back a year from now, who do I hope I will bebecoming?

Episode 216: Learning to Stop Disappearing: From Fawning to Freedom

For years, I thought keeping the peace was the loving thing to do. I stayed quiet, over-explained, managed other people's emotions, and slowly lost sight of the woman God created me to be. In this deeply personal episode, I'm sharing what Jesus has been teaching me about fawning, self-abandonment,discernment, and the freedom that comes from speaking the truth in love. This isn't about becoming louder, harsher, or more self-focused. It's about becoming more wholehearted, more courageous, and more rooted in Christ. If you've ever found yourself disappearing in relationships, constantly trying to keep everyone else happy, or afraid that honesty will cost you connection, I hope this conversationreminds you that Jesus never asked you to disappear. He came to make you whole. If you're a woman in your 20s (or love someone who is), I'd love to introduce you to the Becoming guidebook:www.elisabethklein.com/becoming And if you're looking for a practical, Scripture-centered resource to help you grow in wholeheartedness and live more intentionally with Jesus, I'd love to introduce you to the Live Differently guidebook:www.elisabethklein.com/live-differently Reflection Questions Where have I confused peacekeeping with peacemaking? Have I been protecting relationships—or protecting myself from uncomfortable conversations? Is fear or love making my decisions right now?Where have I slowly abandoned myself instead of becoming the person God created me to be?What emotions or responsibilities am I carrying that don't actually belong to me?Is there a conversation God is inviting me to have, or one He's inviting me to release?Am I trying to manage someone else's emotional response instead of trusting God with the outcome? What would it look like to speak the truth in love with wisdom, humility, and courage?Where do I need greater discernment about the relationships in my life? What is Jesus inviting me to notice about myself, my patterns, or His love today? more resources: www.elisabethklein.com
