    168. Sell the Transformation, Not the Task: The Secret to Closing More Sales 💸

💗 Welcome back to the Hustled Up podcast! 💗 Here's a little sales secret: Your customers aren't buying what you do. They're buying what you do FOR THEM. 💸✨ This week on Hustled Up, we're getting tactical and talking about one of the biggest mistakes business owners make when selling their services: focusing on the tasks instead of the transformation. Because let's be real, nobody is hiring a cleaning company because they're passionate about dust-free baseboards. They're hiring us for more free time, less stress, and the feeling of finally having their home under control. And that same concept applies to just about every industry! We're sharing how we've built our sales process around understanding our customers' needs, asking better questions, and communicating the REAL value behind what we offer. From creating emotional connections and handling price objections to using your marketing to sell an experience rather than a service, we're breaking down the strategies that have helped us turn leads into loyal clients. Plus, we're talking about why the customer experience matters just as much as the sales pitch, how to avoid sounding like a scripted salesperson, and why sometimes the best thing you can do on a sales call is simply shut up and listen. 👀 🎧 Tune in for actionable sales advice, real-life examples, plenty of laughs, and a reminder that people don't just buy services. They buy solutions, experiences, and the way those things make them feel. ‧⁺˚・༓ ⋅ʚ ✿ LET'S CONNECT ✿ ɞ⋅ ༓・˚⁺‧ ➡️ Show notes: https://www.thehustlehavenllc.com/hustledup ➡️ Wanna be a guest on our show? 167. Eat the Damn Frog: Procrastination Is Costing You More Than You Think 🐸

💗 Welcome back to the Hustled Up podcast! 💗 Procrastination isn't always about being lazy. Sometimes it's fear, perfectionism, overwhelm, or simply avoiding the things we REALLY don't want to do. This week on Hustled Up, we're calling ourselves out (and maybe you, too 👀) as we dive into the uncomfortable side of entrepreneurship. From putting off difficult employee conversations and price increases to getting distracted by every shiny new idea, we're sharing how procrastination has cost us time, money, and even clients. We're also breaking down the concept behind Brian Tracy's "Eat That Frog", sharing a few hilarious stories from our own experiences, and discussing practical ways to stop avoiding the hard stuff, including delegation, accountability, and tackling those uncomfortable tasks head-on. Because sometimes, the thing you're dreading most isn't nearly as bad as you've made it out to be. 🎧 Tune in for some laughs, a little tough love, and a reminder that your future self will thank you for doing the damn thing. ‧⁺˚・༓ ⋅ʚ ✿ LET'S CONNECT ✿ ɞ⋅ ༓・˚⁺‧ ➡️ Show notes: https://www.thehustlehavenllc.com/hustledup ➡️ Wanna be a guest on our show? 166. You Can't Grow If You Do It All: The Power of Virtual Specialists ft. Rico Donato

💗 Welcome back to the Hustled Up podcast! 💗 What if the help your business desperately needs doesn't have to come from someone sitting in your office? This week, we're joined by Rico Donato, who runs the 1LD (One Layer Deep) Virtual Specialist Program, to talk about one of the biggest game changers for growing businesses: getting the right people in the right seats (even if those seats are thousands of miles away!). We're diving into when it's time to bring on additional support, how to prepare your business for a new team member, and some of the biggest mistakes entrepreneurs make when hiring. We also chat about the 1LD VS Program and how virtual specialists can provide an affordable, effective solution for business owners who are drowning in the day-to-day. And we're not just talking the talk! After bringing our own virtual specialist, Trisha, onto the team, we've experienced firsthand just how transformative the right hire can be. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stretched too thin, or convinced you have to do everything yourself, this episode might just change your mind! ✨ CONNECT WITH RICO ✨📩 Email: rico@1ld.co 💻 Website: https://1ld.co/vs-program/ 🗓 Book a Meeting with Rico: https://1ld.co/book-a-vs-call/ ‧⁺˚・༓ ⋅ʚ ✿ LET'S CONNECT ✿ ɞ⋅ ༓・˚⁺‧ ➡️ Show notes: https://www.thehustlehavenllc.com/hustledup ➡️ Wanna be a guest on our show? 165. Your Social Media Isn’t a Billboard: How to Build a Brand People Actually Want to Follow

💗 Welcome back to the Hustled Up podcast! 💗 I’m flying solo this week, and we’re talking about something I could genuinely yap about ALL. DAY. LONG. — branding. ✨ After recently sitting on the Lead Your Brand panel at CleanCon, I left feeling even more fired up about helping business owners build brands that actually feel like people — not digital billboards. Because your brand is so much more than a pretty logo, cute colors, and perfectly curated graphics. It’s the collection of signals that helps people know you, trust you, remember you, and ultimately decide they want to work with you. In this episode, I’m breaking down five tactical shifts you can start making on social media RIGHT NOW to build a more recognizable, human, and memorable brand. We’re talking about documenting instead of constantly creating, showing the humans behind your business, developing a point of view, creating recognizable content, finding your actual voice online, and more. Plus, I’m giving you a little social media challenge to help you take a hard look at your current content and ask yourself one very important question: Does this actually feel like my brand? If your social media has been feeling more like a digital flyer than a brand people genuinely want to follow, this episode is for you!! And fair warning … you’re probably going to be hearing a LOT more from me about branding, marketing, and social media very soon. 👀💗 ‧⁺˚・༓ ⋅ʚ ✿ LET'S CONNECT ✿ ɞ⋅ ༓・˚⁺‧ ➡️ Show notes: https://www.thehustlehavenllc.com/hustledup ➡️ Wanna be a guest on our show? 164. Business Owner Court: Guilty or Not Guilty? ⚖️

💗 Welcome back to the Hustled Up podcast! 💗 Court is officially in session. 👩‍⚖️ This week, we’re trading the tactical business talk for something a little more chaotic: Business Owner Court — Guilty or Not Guilty? We’re putting some very real (and very debatable 👀) workplace and business scenarios on trial and handing down our verdicts. Should a loyal client still pay the cancellation fee when their kid gets sick? Is an employee guilty for logging off early if all their work is done? Is quitting a toxic job without two weeks’ notice a red flag? And can a business owner take an expensive vacation after telling an employee there’s no room for a raise? Some cases were easy. Some had us changing our minds halfway through. And, shockingly, we didn’t agree on everything. Play along as you listen and decide: GUILTY or NOT GUILTY? Then come tell us where you think we got it completely wrong. 😂 And because we had way too many cases for one episode … stay tuned. Business Owner Court: Part Two is coming. ⚖️ ‧⁺˚・༓ ⋅ʚ ✿ LET'S CONNECT ✿ ɞ⋅ ༓・˚⁺‧ ➡️ Show notes: https://www.thehustlehavenllc.com/hustledup ➡️ Wanna be a guest on our show? 163. Things We Stopped Giving an F About in Business

💗 Welcome back to the Hustled Up podcast! 💗 After nearly nine years in business, one of the biggest things that has changed for us isn’t our pricing, our team, or even the way we run our companies — it’s what we’re willing to give our energy to. In the early days, EVERYTHING felt important. Every competitor, every unhappy client, every employee’s opinion, every little problem, and every opportunity to make another dollar had the power to completely consume us. These days? We’ve gotten a whole lot more selective about where our energy goes. In this episode, we’re talking about the things we’ve stopped giving an F about in business — and the lessons it took us years to learn. We’re getting into comparison and competition, wanting every client and employee to like us, saying yes to money that isn’t worth it, following business advice that doesn’t actually fit your vision, treating every little problem like an emergency, trying to do everything yourself, holding onto people and situations for too long, and so much more. We definitely haven’t mastered all of this, but we’ve come a LONG way — and if you’re exhausted from giving your time, thoughts, and energy to things that don’t deserve quite so much of you, this episode might be the reminder you need to reevaluate what’s actually worth caring about. ‧⁺˚・༓ ⋅ʚ ✿ LET'S CONNECT ✿ ɞ⋅ ༓・˚⁺‧ ➡️ Show notes: https://www.thehustlehavenllc.com/hustledup ➡️ Wanna be a guest on our show? 162. Before You Hire: 5 Things to Do Before Bringing Someone Into Your Office

💗 Welcome back to the Hustled Up podcast! 💗 This week, Laura is taking over the mic for a solo episode — and she's getting tactical! After recently bringing a new remote team member into the Chores & More office, we've been thinking a LOT about what actually needs to happen before someone new joins your team. Because hiring someone isn't automatically going to make your business more organized — you need to create the structure they're stepping into first. Laura is breaking down five of the most important things to have in place before bringing someone into your office, from defining roles and documenting what's living in your head to cleaning up your systems, creating an intentional training plan, and setting crystal-clear KPIs and expectations. And as always, we're sharing this from the middle of figuring it out ourselves — what we've done well, what we're already going back and changing, and what we wish we had known sooner. If you're thinking about making your first office hire (or your fifth!), grab a notebook for this one. 🎧✨ Enjoy! ‧⁺˚・༓ ⋅ʚ ✿ LET'S CONNECT ✿ ɞ⋅ ༓・˚⁺‧ ➡️ Show notes: https://www.thehustlehavenllc.com/hustledup ➡️ Wanna be a guest on our show? 161. Would We Do It Again? 8 Years of Business Decisions, Mistakes & Lessons

💗 Welcome back to the Hustled Up podcast! 💗 If we could go back to 2018 knowing everything we know now … would we make the same decisions? 👀 This week, we’re playing a little game of “Would We Do It Again?” and revisiting some of the biggest choices we’ve made while building Chores & More — from going into business each other and choosing our name and branding to pricing, hiring, coaching, expanding our services, setting boundaries, and more. Some decisions? We’d make them again in a heartbeat. Others? Absolutely effing not. 😂 But looking back at the good, the bad, and the what the heck were we thinking?! moments reminded us just how much those early mistakes and growing pains shaped the business owners and leaders we are today. Whether you’re brand new to entrepreneurship or years into building your business, play along with us and ask yourself: knowing what you know now … would you do it again? ‧⁺˚・༓ ⋅ʚ ✿ LET'S CONNECT ✿ ɞ⋅ ༓・˚⁺‧➡️ Show notes: https://www.thehustlehavenllc.com/hustledup➡️ Wanna be a guest on our show?
