Episode 174: BONUS Maybe He’s loosening our grip on something we’ve been trying to control with Leigh

Send us a message! Click here! In this episode of The Punch Bowl Diaries, we’re diving into the beautiful history and spiritual significance behind this powerful Catholic devotion. The 54 Day Rosary Novena begins on August 15, the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and ends on October 7, the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. We’ll talk about where the devotion began, the story of Fortuna Agrelli and Our Lady of Pompeii, and why the 54 days are divided into 27 days of petition followed by 27 days of thanksgiving. But more than just the history, we’re talking about what it means to pray with perseverance and surrender. To bring the deepest desires of our hearts before God and then trust Him with the outcome. To give thanks before we know what the answer will be. Because sometimes the miracle isn’t that the circumstance changes. Sometimes the miracle is what God changes in us while we wait. If you’re praying for something right now, carrying an unanswered prayer, or simply needing a reminder to trust God’s timing, this episode is for you. Pick up your Rosary, bring your intentions to Jesus, and remember: keep praying, keep trusting, and let God take care of the rest. Episode 169: BONUS What If the “Detour” Is Actually God’s Plan? with Leigh

Send us a message! Click here! What happens when God finally answers the prayer you’ve been praying, opens the door you’ve been waiting on, and then leads you somewhere you didn’t expect? In Exodus 12:37–39, the Israelites finally leave Egypt after generations of slavery. They know what they’re leaving behind, but they have no idea what comes next. They don’t have a detailed plan, they don’t know where their next provision will come from, and they certainly don’t know everything that awaits them in the wilderness. But they do know one thing: God brought them out. In this episode, we take a look at the journey from Exodus 1 through 12, the ten plagues, Passover, and Israel’s dramatic exit from Egypt. More importantly, we talk about what this story teaches us about waiting on God’s timing, walking through the doors He opens, trusting Him when we don’t have the whole plan, and remembering what He has already done. Hope this encourages you in your current season!  Follow us on Instagram at @PunchBowlDiaries_Podcast  Watch on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@PunchBowlDiaries-jb7dq Email Us: punchbowldiaries@gmail.com Don't forget to subscribe to get notified when our new episodes drop every other week.
