    68. The (Gentle) Winter Arc: Daily Rituals for an Intentional Life, Romanticizing Slow Living, & Building Patience as we Grow

Slowly but surely: that is the motto for the beginnings of a new year.  At a time where the world tells us that it’s the time to be brand new - while all we yearn for is stillness, how do we find reconciliation between setting intentions + and moving with the slow beat our body may crave during the winter-time?  This episode is another breath away from all of the noise around needing to be someone else, go somewhere else, and turn your life into something else as we transition into the new year.  It is a testament to the power of intention, presence, and surrender — embracing patience, moving intuitively, and taking it one step at a time.  On this episode, I discuss the concept of a Winter Arc: a time where we use the coldest, darkest, shortest days of the year to refocus and reground ourselves so that we can bloom when it is time. I give you a guide into the simple daily rituals that ground me and allow life to be a sacred act that is created by every movement and choice, rather than a list of resolutions to accomplish and a new person to become.  After all, breathing life into a new year requires that we have the patience to take a full breath. x IF YOU ARE A FREQUENT LISTENER OF FSO, RATE THE SHOW ON YOUR PREFERRED STREAMING PLATFORM!
