Casual Camping Podcast

I wandered across this podcast randomly because we boondock a lot every year and I’m always looking for a new take on camping and gear. I’ve picked up some helpful info but mostly have morphed into that crazy loon who laughs hysterically while driving alone in the car. The neighbors are concerned. I do think the best part is my dear neighbor is from Yorkshire and Tim’s diction and tone sound exactly like Bruce though Tim is rather more fun than Bruce is, sorry, Bruce, it’s true. Great, great show, I deeply appreciate what you are doing!

I’m a 44 year old woman who loves to camp, but my husband doesn’t, so I want to get into solo camping but I’m nervous about it. I discovered this podcast while searching for solo camping stories and tips, and initially only listened for a few minutes to the “solo camping” episode before moving on, because I figured two guys wouldn’t understand the issues I was worried about. But then after listening to a few other podcasts about solo camping, I came back to it and listened to rest of the episode, and it actually made be feel better to know that two grown men are also creeped out being in the woods at night alone, and in the UK no less! Here in the US we’ve got bears and mountain lions to worry about! Their delightful banter and laughter made me go back and listen to more episodes, and I’m loving it. Great pod, thanks guys!

I am a 67 year old American woman living in southern Arizona and listen to your podcast religiously. After the chair podcast, i bought myself a yeti camp chair before a camping trip to Moab, Utah. It really made the experience so much more comfortable. I was inspired by a later podcast to put the jetboil genesis on my amazon wish list. As a solo camper, your podcast gives me a sense of community and companionship. Keep up the good work! 5 Stars
