Emotional Eating- Sometimes it's Not That Deep

In this episode, I’m talking about something that might surprise you when it comes to emotional eating. Sometimes… it’s not that deep. I share a theme I’ve been seeing with several clients lately—where they assume something bigger must be going on, when in reality, it’s often much simpler than that.  We tend to associate emotional eating with big emotions like stress, anxiety, or frustration. But what I want to offer is that it can also come from much lighter, more subtle emotions that are easy to overlook. Things like boredom, hesitation, doubt, or even just a slight sense of discomfort. This episode is about learning how to recognize those moments....especially the ones that show up when you’re about to follow through with something you said you would do. Because often, those emotions don’t even surface until you stop distracting yourself. I also walk you through the difference between escaping emotions and avoiding them, and why that matters if you want to feel more in control of your eating and your habits. This is really about simplifying the process. Not making it more complicated than it needs to be… and realizing that sometimes the thing getting in your way isn’t a deep-rooted issue, it’s just a moment of discomfort you haven’t learned how to sit with yet. If you’ve ever felt like emotional eating doesn’t fully apply to you—but you’re still not where you want to be....this episode will help you start to see what might actually be going on. Enjoy! Why you Keep Stopping & Starting Over- a Book Review

In this episode, I’m talking about a concept that might completely change the way you see yourself and why you keep stopping and starting over. I’m diving into one of my favorite books, The Big Leap, and why it’s been so powerful for me (even after reading it multiple times). We talk about the idea that you may not be lacking discipline or consistency… you might actually be bumping up against an internal limit for how good you allow your life to feel.  I share how this shows up in real life...like doing really well for a stretch and then suddenly falling off track, creating stress where there wasn’t any, or going back to old patterns just when things start to feel easier. This episode is really about understanding your “baseline” - the emotional patterns you’re used to - and how your brain will try to pull you back there, even if it means creating problems. I also walk you through some of the common ways this shows up, from weight loss to relationships to self-worth, and why it has nothing to do with you being weak or doing something wrong. Because when you can recognize what’s happening, you can start to change it. This is about learning how to stay in the good moments a little longer… letting things feel easier… and allowing yourself to actually have what you want without undoing it. If you’ve ever felt like you’re always starting over...or like things go wrong right when they’re going well....this episode will help you understand why, and what you can begin to do differently. Getting Great at Prioritizing Yourself

In this episode, I’m talking about something that sounds simple… but is actually one of the most important skills you can build if you want to create what you want in your life. Learning how to truly prioritize yourself. I share some of the most common thoughts I see that keep women stuck, things like feeling selfish, worrying about letting people down, or believing your value comes from what you do for others. And what I want to offer is that it’s not your schedule that’s the problem...it’s the way you’re thinking about yourself and your role in your life.  This episode is really about shifting those patterns. Moving from guilt and obligation… to intention and self-respect. I also talk about why this is harder than it sounds. Because prioritizing yourself isn’t just about taking baths and slowing down, it often requires doing hard things, setting boundaries, and being willing to feel discomfort. But when you start doing this work, everything changes. You show up differently in your life, in your relationships, and in the way you take care of yourself. If you’ve been feeling like you’re always last on your own list, this episode will help you start changing that in a way that feels grounded, doable, and empowering. The Missing Piece to Getting What You Want

In this episode, I’m talking about what I see as one of the biggest missing pieces when it comes to getting what you want in your life. We spend so much time focusing on doing more, learning more, or finding the right strategy… but what often holds us back isn’t a lack of knowledge, it’s our resistance to discomfort. I share a real-time example from my own life that brought this into focus for me, and how quickly we can want to pull away when something feels uncomfortable, unfamiliar, or a little exposing. This episode is about understanding that if you want to create something new—whether it’s weight loss, confidence, or growth in any area—you’re going to have to be willing to feel things you don’t currently feel. Not because anything has gone wrong, but because you’re stretching into something new. I also talk about how easy it is to misinterpret discomfort as a sign to stop, when in reality, it’s often a sign that you’re exactly where you need to be. This is a powerful shift, because when you stop avoiding discomfort, you open yourself up to so much more possibility. If you’ve been feeling stuck, or like you’re doing all the right things but not getting the results you want, this episode will help you see what might actually be getting in the way—and how to move forward in a completely different way. I currently work with women privately to achieve their health, mindset, and body goals.  I would love to offer you a consultation HERE to discuss the changes you want to make to create more joy, health, and peace in your body and life.

Client Interview: How Brittany Lost 18 Pounds Without Dieting

In today’s episode, I’m sitting down with my former client Brittany to talk about her experience inside my coaching program and the transformation she created. When Brittany first came to me, she described her relationship with food as “noisy.” Her mind was constantly filled with thoughts like “Should I eat this? Shouldn’t I eat that?” and she felt stuck in the familiar all-or-nothing cycle that so many women struggle with.  Over the course of our work together, Brittany lost 18 pounds, but more importantly, she changed the way she thinks about food, habits, and what’s possible for her life. In this conversation, we talk about: Why she decided to schedule a consultation after listening to the podcastThe mental chatter around food that kept her stuck for yearsThe moment she realized going “off plan” didn’t mean she had failedHow she broke the all-or-nothing cycle with eating and exerciseThe mindset shifts that helped her create real, sustainable weight lossBrittany also shares how this work has impacted other areas of her life—from running her business to navigating hard moments like grief. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s actually like to work with me or whether this work could work for you too, this episode is for you.
