    205. Owning Your Season: Three Keys To Partnering With God In Your Life

Launching my son to college wrecked me a little, and it clarified something too: we get stuck in our growth when we won't align with the season God actually has us in. In this episode, I am sharing three keys to owning yours: 1. See what God is doing. You're chasing your felt needs. He's after your core needs, and those two rarely look the same. Ask: what is God doing in this season, not just what do I want out of it. 2. Notice what it's depositing in you. Like the Sons of Issachar, we're called to discern the times. What's being sown now becomes your harvest later. 3. Maximize where you are. Life moves and changes as we live it. You have to have your finger on the pulse of what God is doing so you can make the most out of it. Let this episode encourage you, challenge you, and help you grow.   TIMESTAMP 00:00:00 - Welcome to Wisdom's Table 00:00:27 - Owning Your Season 00:01:08 - Personal Experience: Launching My Son to College 00:02:10 - Understanding God's Timing 00:03:45 - Key #1: What is God Doing? 00:06:23 - Core Needs vs. Felt Needs 00:07:47 - Key #2: What is This Season Depositing in You? 00:10:25 - The Importance of Past Seasons 00:12:43 - Key #3: Maximizing Your Current Season 00:15:01 - Creating Memories vs. Financial Planning 00:16:14 - The Full Court Press 00:17:17 - Practical Steps to Own Your Season 00:19:02 - Recap of the Three Keys 00:19:54 - Invitation to Connect 00:20:46 - Upcoming Episode Announcement 00:21:07 - Closing Thoughts and Encouragement

203.The Businessification Of The Bible: How To Approach The Bible With The Right Lens

In this episode of Wisdom's Table, I'm tackling something I believe is both crucial and controversial: how we're reading and interpreting the Bible inside the business world. I've spent over 20 years in pastoral ministry, and I've built over 10 successful businesses, and that history gives me a responsibility I don't take lightly. I'm calling out what I see happening right now: the businessification of the Bible. There's a trend among Christian creators and business coaches to treat scripture like a success manual, a productivity hack, a growth strategy with a Bible verse attached. And I want to name it plainly. The Bible can absolutely speak into how we work and lead. But that was never its primary purpose. Scripture exists to reveal who God is, who we are, and how we're meant to live because of that truth. When we put business above that, we're not just misreading a text. We're stepping into dangerous territory. This episode will reveal whether you are doing as you read the Bible, and what you can do instead.   Want to take your time with Jesus deeper? 201. God's Favorite Girls: Celebrating Ambition and Anointing in Godly Women

In this episode of Wisdom's Table, I dive deep into the unique and powerful identity of women of God, addressing the challenges and societal pressures that often seek to diminish our brilliance and calling. Titled "God's Favorite Girls," this episode is inspired by a conversation I had with a young woman who shared a shocking experience with a man who expressed admiration for her gifts while simultaneously wishing to suppress them. This encounter illuminated the enemy's plan to make women feel small and inadequate, a narrative that many of us have internalized. Throughout the episode, I reflect on my own experiences as a young woman navigating ambition and dreams in a world that often expects us to conform to a more traditional, domestic role. I emphasize that being a woman of God does not mean we have to fit a specific mold; rather, we are called to embrace our unique gifts and aspirations. I challenge the notion that women should shrink themselves to fit societal expectations, encouraging listeners to recognize their worth and the divine purpose behind their ambitions.   Interested in working with me? 199. The X Factor In Your Sales: Unlock The Power Of Good Listening Skills

We've all found ourselves leaving a conversation and suddenly realizing the other person did not have any interest in us at all. I've thought at times, "What am I even doing here? This person just wants to hear themselves talk." You may be tanking your sales and not even knowing by having sub-par listening skills. In this episode of Wisdom's Table, I dive deep into what I believe to be the true X factor in sales: effective listening skills. Over my 20 years of entrepreneurial experience, I've noticed a significant gap in discussions around sales techniques—specifically, the importance of listening. While many focus on charisma, appearance, or how to handle objections, I argue that the ability to listen actively is what truly sets successful salespeople apart.
