    The White Rose Resistance https://thewhiterose.life/ The White Rose Resistance is a national movement committed to confronting the silence of the American church on abortion and inspiring action. Founded by Seth Gruber, The White Rose Resistance is reviving the mission of Hans and Sophie Scholl, who fearlessly condemned and exposed the actions of the Third Reich. Sophie Scholl’s passion and resolve inspired Seth to fulfill her vision: to prick the collective conscience of the culture, awaken the church to action, and build the army of Christian resistance that Hans and Sophie dreamed of. The White Rose Resistance was launched after the overturning of Roe v. Wade in 2022. 80 years after Hans and Sophie’s execution, America finds itself facing the same evils and same apathy today. Understanding that abortion and the sexual revolution are all a proxy war for a much deeper spiritual war, The White Rose Resistance is building up a new generation of pro-life warriors dedicated to truth and the sanctity of life.     Rod Beck- District 2 Commissioner

    Rod Beck District 2 Commissioner Chairman Rod Beck is the Chairman of the Ada County Board of Commissioners. Beck has an extensive background in conservative governance in Idaho including having served in the state Senate as Majority Leader. Beck believes it is critically important to work each day to uphold the Idaho Constitution. He believes government should operate within its means just as families do. Beck supports free markets, limited government and cultivating a business-friendly environment. He believes property taxes are too high and is working to address the issue in part by limiting government spending where appropriate. Beck’s considerable experience includes serving as Executive Director of the Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) whose mission is to provide funding for affordable housing opportunities in Idaho communities where they are most needed. Additionally he has nearly four decades experience as a real estate broker. Beck was instrumental in transforming the underutilized horse racing track at Ada County’s Expo Idaho property into a once-in-a-generation park set to open in the late summer of 2026. No property tax dollars are being used on this project. Born and raised on an Idaho potato farm, Beck grew up planting and harvesting potatoes, which gave him a solid work ethic. Rod and his wife Rhonda have been married for 51 years. They have three daughters and three sons, as well as 18 grandchildren.     Alex J. Adams- ACF Assistant Secretary

    Alex J. Adams, PharmD, MPH, serves as Assistant Secretary for Family Support, leading the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He was nominated to lead the agency by President Donald J. Trump and was confirmed on October 7, 2025, by a vote of the U.S. Senate.  Assistant Secretary Adams brings years of health, human services, education, and regulatory expertise to advance President Trump and Secretary Kennedy’s broader vision to Make American Healthy Again. Prior to leading ACF, Dr. Adams spent more than ten years in Idaho State Government, most notably as Governor Brad Little’s budget and regulatory director and state Department of Health & Welfare director. In these capacities, he oversaw the state’s first upgrade to a AAA credit rating with both Fitch Ratings and Moody’s. Dr. Adams led the Governor’s zero-based regulation initiative, which resulted in Idaho becoming the least regulated state in the nation. He also made significant efforts to improve Idaho’s child welfare system, enacting kin-specific licensing standards, announcing paid family leave for foster parents, extending foster care to age 23, and overseeing record recruitment and retention of foster homes, and ending diversion of Social Security survivor benefits. Dr. Adams earned his bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Toledo in Ohio and his Master of Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore.
