5 stars for Polgreen’s and Jong-Fast’s discussion on sexual abuse in the referenced movements. Abuse of women (and, as in Spacey’s case, young men) is so rife in even the short span of history here, that pulling apart the threads to examine and discuss it is extremely difficult. Silence has usually been the result. Yet, these two intelligent journalists—with very different voices—reached back and forth to connect the moments and the victims and women/girls more broadly. And the three MAGA Congresswomen and one man, took a moral stance that is truly heartening and hopeful. Trump and the other abusers underestimated again the protective solidarity between women.
