Black Lives Matter

Very humanizing

Thank you for mostly remaining objective. This is not just a black issue. That city could have stayed great but went another way for all of its residents. Watch some of the la gauge that could be seen as glamorizing “the game” or perpetuating stereotypes.

It tells the story of a dead drug dealer

There is a lot to the story but it is a story of a violent youth with a gun who sold drugs to support himself despite other opportunities. The family apologizes for his behavior which was explored in a bigger context but the bottom line is that the series seeks to excuse his behavior and explain away a criminal lifestyle he chose. The youth, Nook, lived by the gun (to "protect his own") and was shot a police officer who the criminal youth aimed his gun at. His own behavior led to his own demise.
