How to Break the Burnout Cycle With Patrice Bonfiglio

Watch this video to understand what true detoxification should look like, then get The Root Cause Cellular Toxicity Assessment™ Test Bundle: https://nontoxicdad.com/answers/ Burnout is a significant global issue, with productivity losses reaching over $300 billion annually, and the United States leading in these statistics. But what if burnout isn’t just a work problem? What if it's a sign that you’ve become disconnected from yourself, your family, and the stuff that makes you feel alive? In this episode, I sit down with Patrice Bonfiglio, author of The Burnout Imperative, to discuss the hidden toxicity of modern work culture and why so many people feel trapped in a cycle of stress, exhaustion, and constant productivity. Patrice shares her experience with burnout and what she discovered about the connection between leadership, purpose, creativity, and sustainable success. We also explore how burnout can show up at home, especially for parents who carry the mental load of family life. We talk about reconnecting with your children, creating space for fun and creativity, sharing responsibilities, and using technology like AI to reduce (not increase) your mental burden. Finally, we discuss what it means to stop simply “doing” and start living again. If this episode resonated with you, share it with someone who needs to hear this message. “We need to feel alive when we’re working, even if it's Monday." ~ Patrice Bonfiglio Resources: - The Burnout Imperative by Patrice Bonfiglio - https://patricebonfiglio.com/book/ - How to Prevent Employee Burnout -  https://www.gallup.com/workplace/313160/preventing-and-dealing-with-employee-burnout.aspx - Hunt, Gather, Parent by Michaeleen Doucleff - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1982149671 Connect with Patrice Bonfiglio: - Website - https://patricebonfiglio.com/ Connect with Warren Phillips: - Website - https://www.nontoxicdad.com/  - Instagram -  https://www.instagram.com/nontoxicdad/  - YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@nontoxicdad - TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@nontoxicdad

What 17 Years of Marriage Taught Us About Love, Parenting, and Family Connection

I’ve been married to Rebecca for 17 years, and this conversation is one of the most personal and honest episodes I’ve ever recorded. We talk about what it really takes to build a strong marriage, especially when two people bring different personalities, patterns, expectations, and past experiences into a relationship.  We share how our relationship evolved from conflict, disconnection, and even thoughts of divorce into the deeper partnership we have today and why commitment, self-reflection, listening, and learning to respond instead of react changed everything for us. We also get into parenting, homeschooling, and why disagreements in front of your kids aren't necessarily a bad thing if children get to see healthy reconciliation afterward. We discuss breaking inherited patterns and creating a culture of connection at home. This conversation is about realizing that change is possible. Rebecca has watched me become more emotionally open, present, and connected, and I've watched her grow in confidence and continue becoming the woman, mother, and partner she wants to be.  I think it's a fallacy, and what I've observed in successful relationships over the years is that we need to get rid of the idea that relationships are 50/50. ~ Rebecca Phillips Resources: - Hunt, Gather, Parent by Michaeleen Doucleff - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1982149671 Connect with Warren Phillips: - Website - https://www.nontoxicdad.com/  - Instagram -  https://www.instagram.com/nontoxicdad/  - YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@nontoxicdad - TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@nontoxicdad

Why Testosterone Is Falling in Younger Men with Dr. Howard Aubert

What happens if your testosterone level is low? In this episode, Dr. Howard Aubert and I dive into why testosterone matters for far more than muscle and sex drive, including energy, motivation, cognitive function, bone density, cardiovascular health, and metabolic health. We talk about why low testosterone appears to be increasingly common in younger men and why simply chasing higher numbers may not be the answer. We also explore the risks and limitations of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), especially for younger men who may still have the ability to produce testosterone naturally. Dr. Aubert explains why looking at the bigger picture can reveal potential reasons for low testosterone that may be otherwise overlooked. We discuss TRT, pellets, injections, topical testosterone, certain medications, and why individualized treatment and regular monitoring matter.  Finally, we take a deeper look at the environmental side of male hormone health. We discuss microplastics found in testicular tissue, hormone-disrupting chemicals such as phthalates, and the importance of reducing toxic exposures. We also talk about combining medical treatment with foundational lifestyle changes. “Most guys have no idea how much better they could be feeling if their testosterone were optimized." ~ Dr. Howard Aubert Resources: - Gonadal steroids and body composition, strength, and sexual function in men - https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/24024838/ - Microplastics and male reproductive system: A comprehensive review based on cellular and molecular effects - https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12937021/ - American Urological Association - https://www.auanet.org/ - NADS Organic Underwear - https://nadsunder.com/ - Microplastics Test - https://blueprint.bryanjohnson.com/products/microplastics-test Connect with Dr. Howard Aubert: - Website (Pazona MD) - https://pazonamd.com/ Connect with Warren Phillips: - Website - https://www.nontoxicdad.com/  - Instagram -  https://www.instagram.com/nontoxicdad/  - YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@nontoxicdad - TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@nontoxicdad

How To Calm Autoimmunity Through Diet and Lifestyle With Mickey Trescott

What if your autoimmune condition isn’t just caused by your genes but by the environment, foods, and toxins that influence how those genes are expressed? In this episode, I sit down with Mickey Trescott, a leading voice in the autoimmune health space, to explore why autoimmune disease is becoming one of the fastest-growing health challenges today.  We dive into the connection between the gut, the microbiome, and immune function, and discuss why autoimmune conditions are deeply influenced by environmental factors, diet, lifestyle, stress, and the health of our gut barrier.  Mickey shares her journey with Hashimoto’s and celiac disease, and explains how her own struggles led her to discover the principles behind the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP). She breaks down the research behind AIP and why it has shown promise for conditions like inflammatory bowel disease and Hashimoto’s. If you or someone you love is struggling with autoimmune symptoms, this conversation could provide a roadmap for helping the body to heal with the right environment, nutrition, and lifestyle choices. “Every autoimmune disease is linked by gut dysfunction." ~ Mickey Trescott Resources: - The New Autoimmune Protocol by Mickey Trescott - https://theautoimmuneprotocol.com/books/#naip - Efficacy of the Autoimmune Protocol Diet for Inflammatory Bowel Disease - https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28858071/ - Research on AIP and Intestinal RNA Expression Changes - https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7147823/ - Dr. Alessio Fasano’s research on Leaky Gut and Autoimmune Diseases - https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22109896/ - The theory of disappearing microbiota and the epidemics of chronic diseases - https://www.nature.com/articles/nri.2017.77 Connect with Mickey Trescott: - Website - https://theautoimmuneprotocol.com/ Connect with Warren Phillips: - Website - https://www.nontoxicdad.com/  - Instagram -  https://www.instagram.com/nontoxicdad/  - YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@nontoxicdad - TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@nontoxicdad

The Hidden Toxins Affecting Your Family’s Health With LaKrista Valentine

What if your child’s health struggles aren’t just random but connected to how their body processes toxins from the world around them? In this episode, I sit down with LaKrista Valentine, a nurse and natural health advocate, to explore her journey from conventional healthcare into a deeper understanding of detoxification, environmental toxins, and supporting the body’s natural healing processes. LaKrista shares how a mysterious health crisis led her to discover applied kinesiology, toxic exposure, and why some people are more affected by their environment than others. We talk about raising healthier children, reducing everyday exposures, supporting detox pathways, and becoming a more informed advocate for your own health.  This conversation is about becoming more aware of the choices we make every day and understanding that small changes can create a meaningful impact on long-term wellness. “I have a lot of people ask me like, 'What's the best multivitamin or immune booster for my kids?' And I always say detox. Detox is the best immune booster because the higher your toxic load, the lower your immune system is." ~ LaKrista Valentine Connect with LaKrista Valentine: - Website - https://nativewellnessllc.com/ - Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/lakristavalentine Connect with Warren Phillips: - Website - https://www.nontoxicdad.com/  - Instagram -  https://www.instagram.com/nontoxicdad/  - YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@nontoxicdad - TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@nontoxicdad

Cancer, Healing, and the Power of Mindset With Dr. Randy Johns

What if cancer isn’t the enemy, but a signal that your body has been overwhelmed by the environment you created? In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Randy Johns, chiropractor, health educator, and co-founder of Happy Healthy Life, to hear his incredible story of overcoming a late-stage cancer diagnosis and completely transforming his approach to health and healing.  Randy shares how, despite looking healthy and helping thousands of people improve their health, he was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma and given a life expectancy of only months to two years. We dive into the mindset shift that changed everything for him. Randy explains why he stopped looking at cancer as something to fight off and instead focused on removing whatever was preventing his body from functioning the way it was designed to. We discuss how unresolved trauma, stress, and lifestyle choices can impact health, and why metabolic function is at the center of chronic disease. Randy’s story is a powerful reminder that the body has an incredible ability to recover when we remove the things standing in its way. “We don’t need more healing in life; we need less interference, and that's really the foundation." ~ Dr. Randy Johns Resources: Dr. Raymond Hilu (renowned for treating all types of illnesses, especially chronic and rare diseases) - https://www.faim.org/the-hilu-institute Connect with Dr. Randy Johns: - Website - https://www.thehappyhealthylife.com/ - Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/theh2life/ Connect with Warren Phillips: - Website - https://www.nontoxicdad.com/  - Instagram -  https://www.instagram.com/nontoxicdad/  - YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@nontoxicdad - TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@nontoxicdad
