"Judy, You're Not Yourself Anymore" • "Fitting Punishment" with Emma Arneil

Ghouls and boils, welcome back to the mausoleum! This week, we're diving into two darkly comic tales of vanity, greed, and ruthless punishment—exploring the chaos of identity-stealing witches in suburban homes and the grim, cold fate awaiting a miserly undertaker in a creepy funeral parlour. And our guest is The Horror & Her podcast host Emma Arneil! ~ [ 00:00:25 ] "Judy, You're Not Yourself Today" When Donald (Brian Kerwin), a fastidious gun enthusiast, notices his wife Judy (Carol Kane) acting strangely, he initially chalks it up to mood swings. However, he soon discovers that an eccentric door-to-door cosmetic saleswoman (Frances Bay) has used an ancient magic amulet to swap bodies with Judy. Donald must figure out a way to reverse the spell before he is stuck living with an imposter forever. ~ [ 00:36:20 ] "Fitting Punishment" Ezra Thornberry (Moses Gunn) is a deeply cruel and penniless undertaker who cares far more about cutting corners and saving pennies than showing respect for the dead. When his recently orphaned nephew Bobby (Jon Clair) is sent to live with him and work at the mortuary, Ezra treats him with severe brutality and disdain. However, Ezra soon learns that mistreating those under his roof—living or dead—comes with a very dark price.
