Great Chemistry

These guys are awesome reviewers. Differing points of view and hilarious takes as well.
Best cinema podcast

Long time listener. This podcast got me through good times and bad times alike. It just helps to listen these guys talk about cinema and all the things they love. Thank you
Good show, but

Jeff really needs to find some taste. He’s constantly doing apologia for the crappiest movies being churned out. He’s never met comic book trash that he didn’t cry tears of joy for.
Captain America: Brave New World and FLOW
Feb 19
Long time listener. Great show as always. I’m happy to see that the show (thanks to Devindra!) finally came around to recognizing the cinematic gem that is FLOW. I hope that Jeff will also get a chance to see it, possibly with his kids.
Devindra is always right

Love the show and they always give great impassioned reviews. Devindra is always right, especially on horror.
Too Bad
Feb 16
Oh so disappointed! Found this podcast and was binging, when about 5 or 6 episodes in, they went on a rant about how they hate republicans, are distraught over Trumps win and look to their 6 year old daughters for wisdom. My god why can’t people keep their political views to themselves. We are not all low testosterone pabs that watch movies and listen to your product. Way to go, unfollow.
The GOATs

Been listening for almost 10 years. Love these guys
Mmhmm. Uh huh. Ah hah.

I like this podcast, but what kinda kills it for me is the “Karen” tone. These guys need to chill on the use of “mmhmm. Uh huh. Ah hah”. Just let each other speak and listen quietly and then respond when it’s your turn to speak. Devendra does it the most. He sounds like a spoiled Karen from the suburbs who is on a weird power trip. You can listen to other speak without making these dumb noises. They’re not even words. Mmhmm. Mmhmm. Mmhmm. Mmhmm.
Please no politics… otherwise amazing
12/26/2024
I enjoy this show… don’t always agree with their reviews and that’s great because it opens my mind. The only negative is that they all feel the need to inject current political commentary into every episode. I agree with their slanted politics (90%) but do I need to hear people talking down to those who don’t follow their ideals? Every-time they bring up politics I feel like turning the podcast off. (I have a few times) I feel for the 60% of listeners who don’t agree with their politics, who are annoyed. This is a film review show… not a political discourse. Please stop the commentary… it’s very amateur. Lead by example! Don’t be the CNN or Fox News of film reviews shows… we come to your show to escape the media bias.
Obnoxious and Unfocused
12/06/2024
I unsubscribed because, as many other recent reviews mention, the political content is smarmy and insufferable. Somehow themes of every single movie or show they review reflects “the recent election” or “the state of the country”. Truly groundbreaking observations. There are so many better film podcasts to listen to including those with left wing views such as Double Toasted.
