    The Progressive Commentary Hour - Bret Weinstein - 8-18-26

    Bret Weinstein is the co-host of the popular Dark Horse podcast with his wife Heather Heying, which can be heard on YouTube.  The podcast addresses a wide range of topics including medical freedom, free speech, the challenges of artificial intelligence, neuroscience, and much more. He is a former professor of biology at Evergreen State College, which he had resigned from in the wake of campus riots on the school's campus due his opposition to racial segregation and the college's diversity and equity proposals.  As a scholar Bret's research focuses on evolutionary tradeoffs, the evolution of senescence and cancer, and adaptive strategies and the significance of human morality and religion. He is author of "The Hunter-Gatherer's Guide to the 21st Century." Bret received his PhD in biology from the University of Michigan where he received a distinguished award in evolutionary biology, and earned his BA from the University of California at Santa Cruz.     Richard Gage is an architect who has been in practice in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 30 years, which include very large fire-proofed, steel framed structures. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the founder and former CEO of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth. Richard, along with his wife Gail, continue to conduct his research in to the collapse of the 3 World Trade Center skyscrapers independently. His website RichardGage911.org is a treasure trove of information -- technical articles, white papers, videos, and documentaries dealing with 911 and much more. On his site, his film series -- Crime Scene to Courtroom -- is an ongoing series that presents an in depth account of the demolition of the 3 buildings.  Also this year is 911's 25th anniversary.
