    Hollywood is consolidating at lightning speed and franchises are expanding everywhere — but not everyone's happy about it. This week on The Nerdpocalypse Podcast: Game of Thrones is getting a theatrical movie (yes, really), the God of War TV series creator just called his the upcoming show "dumb" and "terrible," based on seeing a first image released and Paramount just won a $110 billion bidding war for Warner Bros Discovery, beating out Netflix in one of the biggest media mergers in history.   **GAME OF THRONES MOVIE** Warner Bros is officially developing a Game of Thrones theatrical film. After the divisive final season and the House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms successes, HBO is betting big that audiences will return to Westeros on the big screen.
