Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan

Weekly listener. Brennan is top notch in the world of journalism that is disintegrating. (60 min should be called 20 min for that’s about all the time it’s now worth watching). This lady of Sunday morning is sharp, elegant and direct. Hard act to follow but today’s gal was particularly impressive. (11.30.2025) Didn’t hear a name. Should get her own show. Knows her stuff and pushes back with the right pressing questions-not just softball, confirming ,“nodding what you just said” questions. Plus, she knows her stuff and history too! Brava!

I listen to this show because I think it’s important to hear people’s perspectives. Margaret does push back, but not as strongly now. When you listen to what these people say, average people don’t learn the truth and can’t hold on to the real story. It’s a way for them to come on and just give propoganda, and this is allowed? We need someone who can clarify what’s really happening to those who are listening. For JD Vance to equate undocumented migrants with violent criminals repeatedly, for example, why do you allow this? This reporting makes these fascists look reasonable, and this is the time to hold them accountable! They won’t let you report forever, so better get tough with them NOW! January 12, 2026 Update of my review: I continue to listen to this because it provides some insight into the “thinking” of this regime. As usual, many powerful conservatives are not properly questioned on their words and actions. There is simply no scrutiny and their words are allowed to lay as fact. This is a form of propaganda, and it is not a coincidence that CBS is no longer a reliable source of news ( see B.S.). The main thing that should be understood is that you should listen with a lot of scrutiny. It actually reminds me a lot of RT (the news broadcast of Russia). If you ever have the chance to listen to it, if you’re not listening carefully it seems like a lot of other news. But then you start to recognize the ideas they’re promoting, and they make a lot of claims that just fly in the face of reality. Yeah, it’s propaganda. That’s what is happening here as well. They are saying many many things as if they were facts, and that can be overwhelming for the average listener. It is actually detrimental to listen to this show as a source of information, and I would caution others from doing the same. Margaret, I’d start applying for something else.

Sad what happened to a once good program at a once good network. I started watching back in the Dickerson days. Now part of the CBS propaganda machine.

Send her to El Salvador-CECOT. People in power who do bad things deserve to face the harshest consequences.
