Yes! Eye opening!

I am a parent and my son and I often have discussions about gender and relationships and such. Yesterday we talked about how labels can flex and that it’s up to the person and we need to respect that. It was apropos to then listen to the most recent episode in which the Multiamory folk were addressing labels, why they are used and why we may have difficulty with the use of labels. I’m also a health teacher and I appreciate that this podcast is working to educate and to remind us that things aren’t so black and white. I appreciate the reminders to be inclusive in our language. As humans we like to label things so that we understand how to relate; it’s not that simple, but it doesn’t have to be so daunting. Respect and consent is where it’s all at. Listen in. Your world will broaden regardless of your gender, sexuality, relationship form and such. Enjoy!
