This is a wonderful podcasts for parents of quiet children. I’ve always known my son to be a sensitive introvert, but hearing about other children like him helps me feel like I’m on the right path with him, challenging him (but not too much). I highly recommend this to everyone, but especially extroverts because it’s time our society stops seeing introverts as “damaged” or “less than”.

As an extroverted parent, this gave me so many tools to better understand and celebrate my introverted child. It was so interesting! It was like a cracked open my child’s mind, I kept saying aloud, yes, that’s him! Excellent podcast!

As a child I was the “quiet one” in my class. I do remember, teachers always trying to figure out why I was so “quiet”. It felt awkward and frustrating all in one. I wish teacher’s were more informed in this field. In result, it turned me off being in a school setting. Ultimately not wanted to be in a classroom, cause I knew teachers weren’t understand me. They would impose their views upon you.

I recommend this podcast to all of my friends. As a parent and educator, I have gained perspective and empathy for both the introverts and extroverts in my life. With this, I can understand the world and people around me to be a more effective and compassionate human being. Thank you, Susan Cain. I look forward to your upcoming episodes.
