Old white man

I really enjoy your story telling. You are an expert at picking out good stories and a master at bringing them to life. I would just like to say, even though you probably don’t care, try and leave the political/racist comments out. I know, I know, I don’t have to listen. Or if I don’t like it I can try and make my own podcast. Haha I wouldn’t even try! You are too good. Even though it’s somewhat annoying and saddening I love how talented you are. You are a true artist. Thank you for sharing your talent.

What’s not to love?

LeVar is a gift that keeps on giving. His choice of stories are golden, and he brings them to life beautifully. His end-of-the-show commentary is delightful. And he doesn’t shy away from shining a light on writers of color, of various genders, or orientation. Of different life experiences. The emphasis is felt and appreciated. One story I’d love to hear him read is Dad.me by C. Pam Zhang. It was featured in an issue of McSweeney’s (No. 53) that I picked up because I wanted to read Lesley Nneka Arimah’s latest story. The whole issue was full of gems.
