High Character Host, Excellent Show!

I met the host, Kwame Christian at a podcaster's conference and I didn't even have a podcast yet. Kwame was with a few other show hosts and tuned into my reluctance to start my show. He used his negotiation skills to get me to commit to a 1 month accountability plan to launch my own show. I accepted. Kwame had nothing to gain to help me by holding me accountable, yet he helped me anyway. I am so grateful to him. He is a man of integrity and high character. Then I checked out his show and found that he was the same on recording as he was off. He pressed, holds people accountable, and helps people achieve their goals. I really liked his "Practice Sessions" on the show as they allow listeners to actually see the application of the negotiation strategy. Thank you Kwame!

Traveler with Some Knowledge ,

Negotiated a 10% raise and visa on my starting salary! Best podcast to listen to while running.

They make some excellent points about how to approach situations during which you may feel really uncomfortable.

This was my first time negotiating a salary, and for a position in Germany. After hearing from an insider that most people seemed to be on the same earning starting point, and being new to this nation’s market, I was hesitant about trying. With the tools they told me about and preparation, I was able to negotiate a 10% raise AND having my visa covered! I felt so confident afterwards that I kept asking for more, and now they may even cover my moving expenses.

Overall, I’m extremely satisfied that I switched from listening to music during my runs to something this constructive.

My only suggestion: Maybe cutting back juuuuust a little bit on praising each other? Sometimes it spans for a few minutes... 🙃 Yes, the excellence of the caliber of the content should be acknowledged, but I would prefer to hear more funny side stories like “Blue Book....?” with that time. 😄

Thank you for your podcast!
