    Ep 123: Mirabella's Birth Story

From start to finish, we are sharing the birth story of our 4th baby, Mirabella! Our perspective on birth has evolved over the years (and births). Every time we share our birth stories, we hope they might offer insight and encouragement to parents or parents-to-be as they explore different birthing options, and ultimately discern what's best for them. We are excited to share things we have experienced, spiritual lessons we have learned, and how this birth experience bonded our family in a new way.  Ps - Stay tuned for next week's episode where we answer all your questions about physiological/home birth!  Want to watch the video version of this episode? 2. Ep 150: How to Talk to Your Kids About Sex and Avoid the 90's Version of "The Talk" with Megan Michelson

    28/05/2025

Ep 150: How to Talk to Your Kids About Sex and Avoid the 90's Version of "The Talk" with Megan Michelson

We are tackling a conversation every parent knows is important—but many don't know how to approach: talking to kids about sex. 😬 We asked the expert herself Megan Michelson, co-founder of The Birds and the Bees, to help provide us and you with a clear, approachable roadmap for starting age-appropriate, ongoing conversations about sex, puberty, and safety.  Megan breaks down her signature "drip, drip, drip" method—small, consistent conversations that build trust and understanding over time—so that sex education becomes less of a one-time "talk" and more of a natural part of parenting.  You'll also learn: 💡Why using correct anatomical terms matters  💡How to approach puberty without fear  💡How open communication helps protect kids from abuse  Want more info on Birds & Bees? 3. Ep 122: Parenting Then Vs Now (how our philosophy has changed)

    16/10/2024

Ep 122: Parenting Then Vs Now (how our philosophy has changed)

Has our parenting philosophy changed over the last 7 years of having multiple kids? Absolutely. Because the truth is that as we grow + change our family, our perspective grows + changes alongside of it. And in today's episode, we are talking all about those changes as we share what our experience has been from no kids to one kid, to now having four kids.  Some of the perspectives that we have changed are around topics like vaccines, birth choices, sharing the bed, managing screen time, discipline strategies, the role of sports in our family, and a few more hot-button topics (because those are the ones we have shifted on most!). At the end of the day, it is all about trusting your gut, finding balance, and embracing the unpredictable nature of parenting. So grab your headphones and listen in!  GUESS WHAT?! 4. Ep 106: Christmas at Roloff Farms + 3 Questions To Ask Your Kids (Depending on if they are feeling, thinking, or doing suppressed)

    10/01/2024

Ep 106: Christmas at Roloff Farms + 3 Questions To Ask Your Kids (Depending on if they are feeling, thinking, or doing suppressed)

Happy New Year!! ✨ The holiday season was FULL of movement for us. We spent Christmas at Roloff Farm (in the home where Jeremy had Christmas every year growing up!) then went to our cabin in Spring River before heading back to our temporary home with Audrey's family. 🫠 We've lived out of luggage for the last two weeks, and there is a reality to it that social media just doesn't paint! So, we want to share some BTS of our experience over the last few weeks. BUT more so, Jeremy faced his "dragons" and went back to his childhood home for Christmas. Because there is something powerful, vulnerable, and healing when you face your dragons. 💌 In this episode we talk about:  Creative date night ideas; what we do + how we plan intentionally to make dates happen How being at the farm for Christmas brought a depth of peace to our family   Discovering whether your kids are feelers, thinkers, or doers (+ what to ask them that will help them feel seen, loved, and process best)  Our gender predictions for baby #4 (we will find out soon!!)  Links to anything we mentioned:  52 Date Night Tracker 1,000 Hours Outside Podcast 1,000 Hours Outside Tracker Book Spring River Cabin + see availability!  Spring River Cabin list of items most asked about Connect with us: Instagram I @audreyroloff Instagram I @jeremyroloff The Marriage Journal  Memories of Us Anniversary Journal Creative Love  A Love Letter Life  Debt Free Journal  Shop Audrey's Amazon Storefront Some of the links above may be affiliate links, which means we earn a small commission if you purchase the item(s) using these links. 5. Ep 137: Embracing Your Season, Mindset Over Method, and Why We Don't Sleep Train

    19/02/2025

Ep 137: Embracing Your Season, Mindset Over Method, and Why We Don't Sleep Train

Life is FULL of seasons. Do you embrace them? Understanding AND accepting the different seasons of life is incredibly powerful. Because when you embrace your season you change your mindset and influence your experience. 💪 Today's episode comes from a recent perspective shift we experienced that Audrey shared about online – why we don't sleep train. While there is a wealth of information and opinions in society when it comes to sleep-training methods, the point of this episode is not to persuade you to one way or another but instead to spark a different way of thinking when it comes to the power of your mindset + embracing the seasons of your life.   Thank you to TrulyFree for sponsoring today's episode! "How do you plan to give birth this time around?" 🤔 We are a few months away from giving birth to baby #4!! And most of the questions we are asked center around how we plan to bring this little one into the world.  We have been through the birthing experience a few times now – from hospital births to giving birth at a birthing center. As our faith has evolved over the years, so has our perspective on childbirth + parenting. ♥️ So, let's talk about it!
