Lakshmi does an amazing job of illustrating real life situations, helping us navigate them in a practical way with both curiousity and kindness .She understands the thoughts many of us “later daters” have about dating before dating or in the dating moment and reminds us to be kind to ourselves and our potevtial partner . Finally she provides a warm and optimistic voice to an often fraught topic :) I wish she recorded more often !

I listen to a lot of podcasts, and a lot of dating podcasts, and this one stands out because of Lakshmi’s voice—she is a highly intelligent and nuanced thinker. She makes observations no one else is making, provides truly original insights, and communicates them clearly and coherently. Inspiring, heart opening, and deeply necessary.

I stumbled upon this podcast from a NYT article and when I tell you it has changed my midlife, I am not exaggerating. I find it so refreshing, so insightful, and frankly just so *human.* I can honestly say that the host Lakshmi’s advice and perspective has made me a more social and more accepting human who really just wants to get to know people more genuinely, wherever that may lead. It’s completely cracked open a new way for me to think about dating in my late-40s which has brought some renewed hope and even excitement. And this is not just for midlife daters! There are valuable insights for younger daters and coupled up folks, and I regularly send episodes to both groups.

This is such an easy listen- Lakshmi is thoughtful, knows her stuff, and makes you think deeply and differently about dating later in life. Her message is novel and nuanced, and delivered in a way that’s fun and engaging.
