One thing you MUST know with arthritis in ANY joint...

Your entire body is connected. The way each joint moves and how strong each is matters. One of the biggest mistakes I see people making as a physical therapist is only focusing on the painful joint. For example, when dealing with knee pain- most people only do localized exercises for the knee- ignoring the rest of the body. In order to be successful in pain relief, strength and mobility- you have to focus on the big picture. This episode discusses what you need to know and how to get started.
