Awesome podcast

I grew up with Clay, and to be honest, I just checked this out to be a good friend. But this podcast is awesome. I’ve listened to just two episodes so far (A$AP Ferg & Annie Duke), and I loved both. The discussions and subject matter are compelling and interesting. Clay asks great questions of his guests to get them to open up and dive into the discussion in a very honest way. Five stars, I am all in, and will be listening on a weekly basis. Well done dude.

Thanks!

I am a fan of Clay’s and saw on social media that he’d have a podcast branching off of his Level Up pieces, which made me really excited to listen. I’m so glad to have these insightful and informative interviews. I’ve learned a lot in each episode and plan to incorporate the advice into my life. I know I definitely have a lot of great books to add to my reading list based on the guests each week and the conversations in the episodes. I’ve always been pleasantly surprised by the variety of guests/experts and topics each week and look forward to every new episode. I have even started to re-listen to past episodes and check out other podcasts I’ve been meaning to listen to, which has provided hours of entertainment and enlightenment for me. Thanks guys!

What’s GQ thinking? Misses the mark.

I’ve been a huge fan of GQ’s podcasts. Longtime listener of Corporate Lunch. However, this podcast completely misses the mark and leaves me questioning GQ’s leadership and strategic thinking. I can’t help but think that this is strongly correlated to Jim Nelson’s departure and shows how desperate GQ has become.

As a self-diagnosed addict of Self-Help Podcasts, I’ll be the first to admit I can be a little critical with my reviews, but Airplane Mode has left me extremely disappointed and questioning whether I should support any of their other podcasts at this time.

On the positive side, the show has a unique line-up of guests. They aren’t massive household names, which I can appreciate, but the host is clearly not equipped to bring the most out of the guests, and let them shine. His lack of experience truly shows.
