I just love hearing you guys talk about your emotions and various challenges in y’all lives. I’m a 20 year old male in college, and I’ve experienced multiple mental health crisis within the past 2 years. I started listening to y’all almost a month ago. I can’t express how much I appreciate y'all for doing this. It’s such a big deal. I wish that the other black men close to me would look therapy the way you all do. I even started going back your first few episodes that you guys recorded. Can’t wait to hear more from ya’ll. I wish y'all the very best as well . I’m looking forward to meeting men like y'all in my life.
Thank you!

Chief, Bell and Prentice always say they started this podcast to help them get through some things they were dealing with and/or seeing in society and needed to unpack. They inadvertently created a safe space for others with similar experiences, concerns and feelings to see they are not alone! This podcast is SPECIAL, NECESSARY and WELCOMED in the culture for both us as black people and others to understand what black men deal with daily and how they are affected by their experiences. I encourage EVERYONE to tune in with a true listening ear and opened heart to receive what they are saying and offer support to black men you know going through the same (and other) issues/struggles as well! I commend these men for their honesty, banter and vulnerability! I’m a forever supporter! ~Rissi

I’ve been watching the podcast for sometime now and have to say I enjoy it very much. Although I’m not a black man I have plenty of friends in which I feel listening to this podcast helps me understand their struggles with every day situations discussed on this podcast. I have also seen the growth in the hosts as discussing their stories and working through their past traumas from relationships with women, family members or lack there of as well as just being a black man living in today’s society. I commend them all for expressing their thoughts and feelings and being vulnerable enough to show their listeners they are not alone in this world. I advise anyone regardless of gender or nationality to listen to this podcast as it’s raw and unscripted giving you the real insight to the struggles of a black man.
