    The Spiritual Lessons I Learned From One Year of Podcasting

    In this episode, Melinda playfully interviews herself! She reflects on her first year of podcasting and how her approach will change for year 2.  It's a conversational solocast in which she shares how the process has actually felt like behind the scenes including the cringe moments and the lessons she has integrated throughout the process.  Finding your true, natural podcasting "voice" is no simple matter when you have been trained to deliver material as an academic!  After one year of practice, she feels more comfortable talking to a screen, broadening out her mythic topics all the while trusting and knowing you are there listening and enjoying the content! Something has changed and her delivery feels liberated at last!  Going forward, Melinda will still bring on wonderful guests and source the wisdom of Myth, fairy tales, literature, philosophy, Tarot, Oracle & more but will allow herself more space to riff and freestyle with associations in hopes to inspire you to dance with more lightheartedness in your life even as you wade through the inevitable ups and downs.     Astrology Forecast, June 2026 | Jupiter Enters Leo & New Futures Begin!

    June 2026 is a month of acceleration, changing perspectives, and rapidly shifting momentum. We move deeper into the new collective atmosphere created by Uranus newly in Gemini alongside Neptune and Saturn in Aries and Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. Air and fire dominate much of the month, speeding up communication, ideas, movement, and change, while Mercury and Jupiter traveling through Cancer remind us to stay connected to what feels emotionally grounding and meaningful as the future unfolds around us. Mid month, a Gemini New Moon closely aligned with Uranus and the fixed star Capella brings sudden developments, breakthrough ideas, changing conversations, and unexpected shifts in direction. The month closes with a far more serious Capricorn Full Moon conjunct the fixed star Facies while Mercury simultaneously stations retrograde in Cancer, asking us to slow down, reflect, and reassess what we are building before rushing ahead. June also marks several major transitions, including Chiron entering Taurus for the first time since 1984 and Jupiter leaving his exaltation in Cancer to enter Leo on June 30.
