Three Plowboys restaurants and THE barbecue go-to at Arrowhead Stadium for Chiefs games, Johns is moving on to bigger and better things.  BBQRN has been wanting to do a show about opening a BBQ restaurant for some time and now that he's exiting we were able to get his well earned advice to those with that dream.

    Rod Gray, was crowned undefeated Grand Champion of the 2013 Kingsford’s BBQ Pitmasters (Season 4) on national television.  A National Championship in 2009, Rod Gray of BBQ competition team Pellet Envy was also the runner-up National Champion in 2010 and has been named the best pork ribs and brisket cook in the entire country.  In other words, Rod is one of the winningest pitmasters in the history of BBQ and this week he is zeroed in on making you better at cooking ribs.
