    510. You need intensity to get where you want to go

Intensity, when combined with variance, will naturally modulate. However we should still intentionally turn the knob of intensity.

And intensity is different for everybody.

Keep it simple and do not box it in.

    509. It is better to know what you will NOT tolerate than what you will

If you would pay money to actually get rid of a member that you do not like...why are you letting them stay?

That bad apple is not just bothering you. Your members are also bothered. But you are the one in a position to do something about it.

So, remove them from your community. But do so in a respectful way.

    Do not burn bridges.

Do not fly off the handle.

    Do not take things personally.

    Do not make assumptions.

Most importantly, do not tolerate the things you said you never would.

    508. Movement is movement, absent of face or name

Faults are black and white. Are their elbows in the right place - yes or no?

There is no "kind of" or "sort of". It is a yes or no question.

Whether you've known your athlete for a long time or you are watching someone move for the very first time...a fault is a fault. Be relentless. Movement is movement, absent of face or name.

Tune in to hear about the life of Seminar Staff Member, Head Coach and Content Director at CrossFit Rife, and former Regional Athlete and Box Owner, Lindsay Andrew.

In this episode she shares her insight a coach along with everything else she's accomplished, and you can't miss it.

Thanks to Get Ahead Productions for another great episode.

    507. Small changes, when done consistently over time, yield massive results.

Box Owners seem to want to try and do everything at once, and that will not produce what you hope and might even be detrimental to the long term results you desire.

Start small and create a snowball effect.

It is like Chuck Carswell says at the end of the L1 Seminar weekend: "You just drank from a fire hose, do not go back to your affiliate and try and change everything at once."

It just takes small consistent changes.

Are you willing to put in the work for the long haul to make things happen?

If you do not know where to begin DM us on Instagram. We can and want to help.

    506. As a box owner, you are a leader in your community. Act like it.

If you have a gut reaction to something, do not immediately put your thoughts out there for the world to see. Take a minute and actually think about what you are doing.

Why are you having this reaction? Are you making assumptions? Are you taking things personally?

The short of it is: think before you act. Remember that you are a leader in YOUR community and act like it.

Just one word- WOW

What a great show! I like that it covers a wealth of information on Crossfit- from fitness training to growing your business! Incredible! Definitely give it a listen.

ncabanas ,

Thank you, guys!

You guys are great. I currently live in Atlanta where traffic is insane all hours of day. On my commutes to and from work, I always have your podcast on in the car. It is great in the morning to start my day with some laughs and it is great in the afternoon to focus on learning something valuable instead of the frustrations of drivers. 😭

Thanks for the helpful information, honest comments and all the hard work you put into these episodes. I’ve learned so much from y’all and I continue to look forward to the new content you put out each week.

I really hope to meet y’all at some point! Keep up the amazing work and again, thank you.
