Timo Andres is bridging music and clothes
My guest this week is composer and pianist Timo Andres.
He’s performed with the LA Philharmonic, the Britten Sinfonia, and countless others and also collaborated with Sufjan Stevens, Chris Thile, the Kronos Quartet, and Philip Glass.
He’s a virtuoso on the piano and a virtuoso in his fits.
Timo and I chat his career in music, whether or not you need high-end headphones to appreciate classical music, his Herman Miller collection, getting fits off while slamming the ivories and why Philip Glass thinks he’s the real MVP. -
The JJJ Show - "My words are on the carpet" - PATREON PREVIEW
Jeremy, Jian, and Jon talk about Italian shoe factories and Jian shows us his Gucci Adidas and Louis Vuitton Air Force 1s. We talk about Virgil, the legendary Air Menthol 10s, and meander into a discussion of wedding fits. In the midst of a tux vs no tux debate, Jon says something blasphemous about Belgian Loafers. The guys yet again talk about TikTok and inspiration sources, but this time mention a few TikTok accounts they enjoy. Jon decides he wants to get his Screen Actors Guild card. But not necessarily because he wants to act.

Nabil Ayers Life in the Sunshine
This week's guest is dear friend, author, and President of the Beggars Group US, Nabil Ayers.
He just published his memoir, My Life in The Sunshine, and it's one of the most refreshing, heartwarming, generous books I've read in years. A memoir about one man's journey to connect with his musician father, ultimately re-drawing the lines that define family and race.
But Nabil came on the pod to discuss his recent memoir, the music that defined his life, seeing Nirvana before Nevermind came out, opening for Mudhoney, and how he found his way to writing and discovering his family. -
Estelle Bailey-Babenzien (NOAH, Dream Awake)
This week, we chatted with Estelle Bailey-Babenzien. She’s the co-founder of NOAH, along with her husband and previous guest, Brendan Babenzien, but she’s also a designer, a mother, and a creative force.
We chat about her life growing up in the UK, working in the music industry, how entrepreneurship is overrated, why she prefers designing public spaces and the importance of scent.
Last but not least, we talk about using and utilizing the things we own, not just saving them for a special occasion. -
Jake Woolf - "The Recommendation is the Product" - PATREON PREVIEW
Chatted with longtime GQ, menswear writer, and new king of menswear TikTok, Jake Woolf.
Jake and I talked about his massive rise on TikTok, the creator economy, buying the wrong car(s) in LA, and that 1099 life.
Big fan of the Woolf. Dive in! -
Carter Altman (Carter Young)
Our guest this week is Carter Altman, founder and designer of CARTER YOUNG. Carter tells us about his rapid burst onto the fashion scene during the pandemic while keeping a calm, steady approach to design.
Carter and Jeremy chat about his upbringing in the Midwest, his consistent work put into the fashion world since 16, what he learned working with Matthew M. Williams – and Carter even explains to Jeremy how uncool Gen Z thinks social media is.
Customer Reviews
Binge-worthy
Late to finding Blamo! but really glad I did. Jeremy does such a great job as host and the selection of guests is amazing. Absolutely my favorite pod right now!
If I need to pay say so at the beginning.
If this is to a pay to listen podcast say so at the beginning so I do not waste my time by having it cut off mid sentence half way through.
Ghiaia Episode
My favorite yet. Davide is great. It’s great to see a podcast that promotes people/businesses who deserve the spotlight - had never heard of him before and was very excited to discover the brand.
