A very fast-paced, witty news quiz that is consistently funny. Those of us who are not Scottish may, occasionally, struggle with accents or miss some of the jokes relating to Scottish politics and pop culture, but the accents get easier to follow with time, and even when topics relate specifically to Scotland, the jokes transcend the specificity. After all, corrupt or bungling politicians are everywhere, as are pompous, self-absorbed celebrities. Moreover, much of the program is about international topics. I never miss an episode. My only critique is that I’d prefer it to have a 45 or 60 minute format. It’s too short!
