In May of 2004, 14-year-old Max DeVries traveled to Aruba with his family for what was meant to be a healing getaway. Just days into the trip, a series of seemingly harmless interactions led to a moment that would change everything. I previously covered Max's case in depth on Season 2 of The Unseen Truth, where I shared interviews with his family and friends. Missing in the Midwest: The Abduction of Angela Hammond

It’s late on the night of April 4th, 1991 in Clinton, Missouri. 20-year-old Angela Hammond is standing outside the Food Barn, leaning against a payphone, talking to her fiancé. Somewhere in the middle of that conversation, Angela notices something...a truck. She mentions it casually at first, just something passing through the parking lot. But then, it comes back, and then again. Each time a little slower. Each time a little closer. Now it has her attention because it’s not just passing through anymore, it's circling her. Angela stays on the phone, describing what she’s seeing as it’s happening. There’s a brief interaction. A pause, and then — a scream.... When they arrived, Haley’s sister walked up toward the driveway and what she found would change everything... In this episode of Case Uncovered, I walk through the timeline, the evidence, and the unanswered questions surrounding Haley’s death, alongside insights from her aunt, Jackie, who has been advocating for her niece and working to understand the truth.
