    Doing Everything and Still Feeling Behind

    You're doing the work. You're showing up. You're saying yes to the right things and trying to say no to the wrong ones. And somehow you still end your week feeling like you failed. This episode is about that feeling, the one nobody really talks about because from the outside everything looks fine.     Are Dating Apps Bad for Our Mental Health?

    WE'RE BACKKKK BITCHES!  This week on Casually Spiraling, we're talking dating apps and mental health. After realizing a friend and I had both deleted the apps for completely opposite reasons, I started wondering why the experience left us both feeling exhausted. I share my own experience with dating app burnout, how the apps started affecting my confidence and self-worth, and some of the research around dating apps, loneliness, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion. This isn't an anti-dating-app episode. People find great relationships on them every day. But sometimes the cost to your mental health becomes bigger than the benefit.     I am currently finding balance in many things in my life so this week we are throwing it back to finding balance with a re-release! Incase you missed it or need a little reminder...enjoy :) In this episode, I talk about the struggle of wanting everything, career, creativity, money, and freedom while also craving peace, rest, and time to actually enjoy life. I get into the reality of burnout (even doing things you love), the pressure to do it all, and the constant pull between focusing on one path or chasing multiple passions. I’m starting to realize balance isn’t about having everything perfectly together, it’s about giving the right energy to the right things, at the right time. Still figuring it out. Still want it all.
