    What Does Leucovorin Really Do for Children with Autism?

    Dr. Purser explains how certain environmental chemicals can trigger major inflammatory events in infants and young children—events that may contribute to autism in some cases.     Root Cause of Autism?

    AUTSIM - What is a potential ROOT CAUSE of Autism? Can it be helped? What I see again and again is an inability to detox caused by failures in the Transsulfuration Pathway. This is your pathway that converts homocysteine to glutathione. If you have MTHFR or 16 other Gene SNPs, you will have problems with this pathway. In little children with these SNPs, when exposed to high levels of toxins, such a mercury found in certain vaccines, or even acetaminophen (which drastically decreases glutathione levels), they will not be able to detox these toxins fast enough.
