    ABORTION IN MASS - What a sad day

    Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: This week the Governor of Massachusetts along with a gaggle of clapping swans celebrated a new bill that would legalize the terminating of tiny babies in the womb up til the moment of birth.  This is celebrated by the crowd of those that believe they are the center of the universe, there is no God and they have the right to do whatever they want, whenever they want, with whomever they want. For those of us that follow Jesus and believe that people, however small, are valuable because they are made in the likeness and image of God (Genesis 1) see this as a barbaric return to the days of pagan child sacrifice.  The mother seeking abortion says, my will be done and you give your life for me.     Faith in AI?

    Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: Faith in AI? What should our faith be in the latest wave of artificial intelligence? On the one hand it is becoming more ubiquitous all over every industry.  But is that good. Is this a Jurassic Park thing? - Just because you can doesn't mean you should. An AI security test was able to break out of a secure environment, hack another company and did this all on its own to beat a challenge.     How to PRAY For the Nation!

    Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: Last weekend there was a massive, high profile prayer gathering on the National mall in Washington DC which was called "Rededicate 250 - A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise and Thanksgiving." This was organized as part of the celebration leading up to the nation's 250th anniversary.  The event transformed a section of the National Mall into an expansive, evangelical-style worship service. The day-long, eight-hour event was organized around three primary "pillars":   1. God's Providence: Reflecting on the role of faith throughout America's 250-year history.   2. Personal Testimonies: Sharing stories of personal and communal healing. 3.
