Staying in my lane….
One of the best takeaways after listening to this podcast is always, “Stay in my lane. We’re on the same highway and we’ll get to the same exit eventually.” I love the reminder that whatever’s going on is really up to me, it’s not all about him, or even us. There’s freedom in that thought. 👍
You want to listen to this podcast!
I love this podcast! In just a couple weeks of practicing the things it teaches, I’ve been able to let go of a lot of resentment and frustration! I know it sounds crazy but I didn’t realize I was playing the victim in our marriage. I wanted my husband to be just like me and thought that the only way for me to be happy was to change him. Deep down I knew this was wrong but didn’t know how to let it go because I needed to be right. We have a happy marriage in general but have certain issues that cause us problems. Now I can have respect for our differences and look at them as an asset, not a liability! I love that we can both be right! I love that I can control how I feel about life by controlling how I choose to think about it. It melds so much better with my beliefs that we are agents unto ourselves, to act and not be acted upon. Can’t say enough! Thank you Natalie!
