    Hello my friend. Welcome to the One Heart Field Notes. I'm your host Brooke Snow, and I'm so grateful to have you here. I came across a quote recently that said, "If it has conditions, it's not love." For most of my life, all I knew was conditional love. To even speak of love being unconditional felt abstract—maybe even confusing—based on how I’d been taught. It sure sounds nice and idealistic, but I always carried a list of exceptions that basically canceled it out as a real option. In this episode, we're going to talk about how judgment is the #1 block to experiencing unconditional love. And I will tell you right now: if you can let go of judgment, you will enter the world of unconditional love. It's that simple. And... at the same time, not so simple. Because our judgments can be so deeply held. But my goodness, it is worth the effort to let go. Because just as the quote says, "If it has conditions, it's not love." So my friend, let’s learn how to see—and remove—the barrier of judgment. Because unconditional love is real love. And real love is so much better.     In this episode we're going to talk about conditional love and shine a light on how we may unknowingly withhold love from ourselves or others based on the conditions we've internalized. Living with conditional love carries heavy consequences. Most prominently, it creates the ever-present feeling of not being enough, of needing to fix or change who we are in order to be loved or accepted. It's a constant state of lack and emotional poverty—one of the great silent epidemics of our time. The great tragedy? It doesn’t have to be this way. Because the love we seek is already within us. This is why I begin each episode with the One Heart Meditation. We’re training ourselves to access the love that is always present.
