Developing a Successful Clothes Swapping Solution with Raye Padit

Raye Padit is a Singapore-based fashion designer and circular fashion advocate dedicated to transforming how we produce, consume, and value clothing. The founder of The Fashion Pulpit, Raye, is a sustainable fashion pioneer, developing Singapore’s first retail space focused on clothing swapping and upcycling, which empowers communities to embrace more conscious fashion choices.

Raye also co-founded two non-profit initiatives promoting sustainable fashion and textile waste reduction in Singapore and across Asia: Connected Threads Asia and Swapaholic.

The latest venture is a 6,000 square foot space in the hip Jalan Besar district of Singapore, bringing together other sustainable businesses under one roof, branding the shared space and ethical network as The Circular Hub. Through talks, workshops, and mentorship, he champions circular fashion, entrepreneurship, and conscious consumerism while helping individuals and businesses rethink their relationship with clothing.
