Someone buy this show!!
I’ve been waiting (im)patiently for another Entourage!! I know this isn’t the same, but if it’s half as good, I’m all in. Let’s goooo!!!
A warm familiarity
Ellin, in many ways, is a normal guy. And the show is about a pretty normal guy hustling to get a show made. It’s an easy listen and there are a lot of funny moments. It feels like you’re right there with him as he is working to get the show off the ground. Can he be petulant and annoying sometimes? Sure, but it feels like a good friend rather than a personality.
Show is losing its “Wayz”
It’s been a month since the last episode aired and I use last “episode” very loosely because it was really just an hour of loosely strung together words struggling to come up with one complete thought. The show has struggled for an identity from day one but I’ve stuck through its struggles and identity crisis as a fan of both Entourage and Doug. Sadly, I think without the the television show being picked up as quickly as they thought the podcast has suffered and will continue to suffer.
