EU287: Why Joy?
This week, I have a solo episode for you! The idea to share why I focus on joy and the unschooling journey bubbled up a couple of weeks ago and it’s been fun to put this together. And for listeners who may be newer to the podcast, I share a bit about me before diving […]
EU286: Connect with Courage with Roya Dedeaux
Roya Dedeaux joins me on the podcast this week to talk about her new book Connect with Courage. In her book, Roya […]

This week, Anna Brown and I talk about our theme in the Living Joyfully Network this month, Play! We dive into how integral play is for learning both about the world and about ourselves. EU282: Teachers Turned Unschoolers
This week, I want to dive into another question that I get pretty regularly, and that’s whether I have podcast episodes with unschooling parents that used to be teachers. It’s fun to ponder the why behind the question. Does it seem like a strange leap to make? To me, choosing teaching indicates an interest in […]
Thank you so very much!!
I’ve really been going through exactly these things you spoke of and we’re new at this. I’m so lucky because knows the deal on homeschooling and what he needs so I’m able to shift gears and let him do his thing. He's 13 and has been telling me what’s been happening at school for a couple years and it’s been torture watching him suffering through that. Even though it’s challenging at times we’re so glad we’re doing this!
A Wealth of Information!
I love this podcast! It’s given me confidence in homeschooling and parenting. I know I’ll keep returning to listen to remind myself of all the things I’ve learned. Even if you aren’t going with the Unschooling Method 100%, there is much to be learned and applied here!
reassuring and thought-provoking
Finally listened in after a few years of unschooling and it’s just what I needed to encourage me to go deeper with unschooling/deschooling. Pam is an excellent host, the conversations are natural and insightful, and the q&a episodes are an excellent resource for anyone, in any stage, of unschooling.
