Yuck

I’ve been listening for weeks, since this was exclusively about the pandemic, and I think I t’s too, too gross to do spon con for a for-profit company developing a COVID-19 vaccine. So disappointing! Before that I thought it was a five-star show.

What the heck!

Quit complaining about the host’s voice. Sped up the volume or slow it down if it’s too nasally or fast speed. YOU can adjust!
Be grateful that this program shifts through many many hours to condense info for easy listening in a few minutes. Complain when you pay for something! This is free and so well worth it! And I think the host is great!

Changing my view from awesome to leaving the podcast…

The information was great but I can’t listen anymore because the show “talking speed” is too fast I can’t process the information. I also can’t understand all facts because the guest speaker voice. Too much information going into such a short time. I can tell the show has sped up and it needs to be slowed down again. It’s too frustrating to keep up. I’m sorry.

1. I would change the speed. Some people have anxiety and need a slower speed to process information. For me personally I work as a manager at a very high volume Starbucks. I would listen to the show after work to help decompress. Now it just exasperates my situation so I turn it off.

2. I would change the guest speaker. I’m sure he’s a nice guy but his voice along with the speed of the content is a bit much.

3. I would drop the extra information and stick with just the virus information. If you want a different content podcast, do a different show for the other information. You can shorten the show and keep your current audience. Your current audience was drawn here based on what your original goal was. I told everyone to listen to it. Now all my friends can’t listen to it anymore.

You still have an amazing idea here and a great show. Please just adjust and so we can come back. I’m sorry for the burn out I get it. Believe me at work I’m worn out but I stick with it because it helps people have a normal routine.

If you fix it I will come back and probably many more. Thanks
