What if I told you that you can break free from the all-or-nothing diet mentality keeping you stressed around food? It’s possible, and that’s why I’m so excited about this conversation with the founder and CEO of Nutrition Stripped, dietician, and author, McKel (Hill) Kooienga, about her research-based Mindful Nutrition Method group coaching program. We discuss her journey with food, free tools you can use right now, and her Mindful Nutrition Method pillars that have helped thousands of people cultivate balanced eating habits for life. How to Be a Lazy Genius in the Kitchen with Kendra Adachi

How to Be a Lazy Genius in the Kitchen with Kendra Adachi

Ever heard of a Lazy Genius? The term, coined by author Kendra Adachi, is someone who is a genius about the things that matter and lazy about the things that don’t. It’s the process of naming what matters to you at any given time and then making decisions accordingly, allowing you to sift through what to focus on and what to let go of. When this game-changing concept is applied to our kitchens, it allows us to find long-term success in cooking and eating at every life stage. Listen in to this engaging interview with self-proclaimed professional permission-giver and kind, big sister of the internet, for a sneek peek into her newest book and why it’s a reference guide chock full of frameworks, tools, and other practical and inspiring tips that people can reach for again and again no matter the season of life.

Reflections On Having An Only Child

Reflections On Having An Only Child

Now that my daughter is 10-years-old, I’m reflecting on what it’s been like to have an only child. A bit more personal than most episodes, I share my experience with miscarriages, infertility, IVF, and ultimately how we’ve settled into a very happy family of three. I bring in the guest of the hour, my daughter, to answer a few listener questions at the end. I hope this episode helps those of you who really need to hear it.

Super helpful!

For me, the combination of science about decision making, habits, and wellness is so perfect and helpful. Robyn really does bring a “real” life to the myriad of useful and inspiring topics. I’ve only been listening for a year or so and am already going to the beginning of the podcast and listening to all the earlier episodes that interest me.

Insightful and practical - one of my fav podcasts!

This is one of my top three favorite podcasts! I’ve been listening for over a year now after a fellow health coach friend recommended it. Wow, what a difference it has made in my life and in the lives of my clients. Robyn is real and down to earth. She offers practical tips for how to make real, lasting change. Her book the Feel Good Effect is an incredible resource as well, particularly for those of us who are (recovering) perfectionists.
