    175. The First Past Beliefs One

We asked for your submissions about dating philosophies or “rules” you used to believe, but don’t anymore, and WOW did you deliver! So much so that we’ll be continuing this topic in future episodes. We’re starting this week with things that Ali & Erica used to believe, but don’t anymore, such as: when you know you know, men should ask women out for the second date, don’t save phone numbers until you’re official, and more.

In Updates, Erica is back from her travels and has learned something veryyyy interesting about her photos organization methods. Meanwhile, Ali opens up about the anxieties of relaxing into a new relationship.

    174. The First Debate Team One

We’re debuting a new segment on the pod this week…Debate Team! Ali & Erica will each be assigned a side of a debate and debate each other. This week, we’re starting with “should you live together before getting engaged?” and “can you be friends with an ex?” It gets especially fun when we have to argue for the side we don’t actually agree with!

But first, it’s a BIG week of updates on the pod. Ali recaps her long-awaited reunion with Skyline - did she follow through on her hard commit to DTR??

Kyla Mc ,

It’s like listening to your friends

Dating today can be so hard and discouraging, but their perspective is always refreshing. They don’t always agree, which I love and instead they’re open minded about each others’ perspectives and often offer a perspective I haven’t thought of myself. They’ve both helped me to become more confident in dating, and confident in leading a full single life. As a Patreon supporter, I love being able to write in questions based on current situations/dilemmas. Their advice is always helpful!!

Over it

Ali is incapable of being genuine and vulnerable. Now that she’s in a relationship all she shares is her date itinerary and outfits. It so surface level. This is an opportunity to be more honest about adjusting to a partner- communication, milestones, challenges, making time for each other. Going full time as a dating coach is tragic- she has zero qualifications to be giving any advice and I wouldn’t give a $ to any of her services esp the overpriced Trova trips.

Going downhill

Have loved listening over the years but feel it is going downhill. Love Erica but Ali feels like she’s not as dedicated to the pod and wanting to share and sounds rude to Erica. And they promote the patreon way too much lately. I would definitely give early episodes a listen though.
