How to overcome your body frustrations

Really enjoy all of your podcasts!
This one today was very enlightening. Process vs. outcome really hit home for me today. I’ve always been fixed on outcome-which takes a lot out of me. I’m really going to attempt to make shift to sticking to the process!
It’s all in my mindset, which has to change too!

Love Tony & Deanna!

I never get sick of them :) I’m a healthcare professional myself, but it’s great to listen & learn from others - even if we’re in the same (or similar) field. In addition to fitness + nutrition, the mindset piece is crucial and they do a great job of addressing all aspects. I first knew of Tony via Coach Calorie and was excited to come across the Fitness & Sushi podcast. Now I’ve come to adore Deanna as well and together, they complement each other nicely - both adding their own value and insight to the conversation. My sister just told me she’s perpetually in a binge/restrict cycle, and I suggested listening to the F&S podcast. I couldn’t believe when I saw only 96 ratings! Fitness & Sushi is my fav! This review is past due. Aside from the health-related teachings & info, they have a sweet relationship, which people can learn from as well :) Love them. Thanks to you both!

Truly enlightening!

I saw Tony on TokTik which lead me to his Instagram and podcast. Upon listening to Tony and Deanna I realized that I need to focus on the journey and be in a good place mentally with that as opposed to the outcome. I’m relying on the outcome of my daily weigh-ins to make me happy (weight, muscle mass, fat mass, water mass). And when the scale doesn’t tell me what I want to hear I get mad at it. I’m putting the scale in the basement and will focus on developing a healthy relationship with food. I have been working with a personal trainer for the past 3 years doing cardio and strength training and have seen results but haven’t made a lot of progress lately because we haven’t addressed my relationship with food. Thank you both for helping me see the light.
