I denne episoden  snakker jeg med Eline Thornquist om hva fenomenologi er og ikke er. Vi diskuterer kunnskapsgrunnlaget for fysioterapi og hvordan fenomenologien påvirker klinisk kommunikasjon og praksis. Eline er psykomotorisk fysioterapeut og har vært professor ved Universitetet i Tromsø og Høgskulen på Vestlandet.

I denne episoden snakker jeg med Gunnar Breivik om hvordan deltakelse i idrett kan gi mening til livet; vi diskuterer blant annet uttrykk som flow, peak experience og peak performance. Utfordringen med voksenstyr og kontrollert idrett for barn er et tema Gunnar har problematiskert i boken Sug i magen. Vi snakker om hvordan vi kan forstå menneskelig bevegelse, hvor lekens betydning for motorisk læring og kroppslig utfoldelse er sentralt. 

Gunnar Breivik er professor emeritus ved Norges Idrettshøgskole og har jobbet med ulike idrettsfilosofiske spørsmål.

In this episode I talk to researcher and professor at the University of Aalborg, Michael Skovdal Rathleff.  We talk about how to communicate the PFP diagnosis to patients, whether exercise therapy is effective for patellofemoral pain, principles of rehabilitation, and prognosis.

Joar Fystro har tidligere skrevet om personlig ansvar i fysioterapi i fagbladet Fysioterapeuten.  I denne samtalen diskuterer vi sammenhengen mellom personlig ansvar, skyld og helse. Hva skal til for at vi skal være ansvarlige for våre helseplager? Bør personlig ansvar vurderes ved livsstilsrelaterte helseproblemer, og eventuelt få konsekvens for helsetilbudet?  Vi snakker om ansvar i pasient-terapeut relasjonen, og hvem som har ansvaret i fysioterapeutisk behandling.

I denne episoden snakker jeg med Øyvind Skattebo som har doktorgrad fra Norges idrettshøgskole på "Betydningen av oksygenekstraksjon og blodvolum for maksimalt oksygenopptak".  Vi snakker om hva som bestemmer VO2max, betydningen av max O2-opptak på en utholdenhetsprestasjon, om det er kjønnsforskjeller i effekten av utholdenhetstrening, og flere andre temaer knyttet til trening av utholdenhet.
