    What is the Baltimore Village School?
    The Baltimore Village School was built by Stuart Cramer, in the late 1920s for the children of African American men and women who worked in Cramer Mills and Cramer's dairy farm and orchards. In 2003, Fred Glenn purchased the school from Burlington Industries after finding out the town's fire department was going to use it for a control burn.

    Who is Gaston Hope in Christ?
    Gaston Hope in Christ is a local ministry of area churches and individuals who have worked together to meet needs for those in our communities since 1999. The main program is Hope in Christ tutoring, which offers free tutoring after school three days a week to provide a caring, learning, growing environment for students. 
    Gaston Hope in Christ has provided college internships and high school student enrichment programs in the summer to promote community awareness and service and build teamwork and develop character and leadership skills.

Have been a resident if Gaston County for almost 17 years and Just discovered the podcast and am enjoying it. Wonderful to hear all the positive things happening in Gaston County.
