    I don’t know about you, but our family lives in the middle of nowhere and spends A LOT of time in the car. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite ways to build connections, take care of my mental health, and pour into my personal growth during the time we’re already on the road. 
     
    Whether you live in the middle of nowhere and have a 45 minute drive everywhere you go, or you live in the suburbs and have a 45 minute commute to work, I hope these tips help maximize your drive time and add value to your life.

    In today’s episode I had the joy of chatting with Mary Pat Sass about finding your balance between farm and family. Join us as we chat farm wife - to - farm wife about setting boundaries, working as a team, and taking care of ourselves during the busy seasons. We discussed how communication is key in discovering and living the life that brings you joy and purpose. 
    Mary Pat, “MP” is a midwestern farm wife and mom from Northern Illinois. She left her corporate career in agriculture technology to be a stay-at-home mom and become more involved on the family farm.  What she thought was her dream job turned out to be the one thing keeping her from living her dream life. Now, she works to inspire others to find what makes them happy and live a joy-filled life.

    Today Aly Robins and I talked all about overcoming challenges as a rural business owner. We explored what it looks like to chase big dreams in a small town and how your business thrives when you have a healthy mindset. 
     
    Aly Robins is a marketing strategist and business coach for agriculture and rural businesses. She grew up on a ranch outside of Helena, Montana, and got a bachelor's degree in rangeland management. After feeling unfulfilled working at her 9-5 job, she decided to take her marketing business full time. Now, she helps her clients set up a website that converts people into paying customers as well as utilizing social media to increase sales. She's extremely passionate about helping businesses in rural and agriculture industries thrive rather than just survive.

    Today I had the absolute joy of sitting down with my dear friend Kiah as we chatted about defining enough and finding joy in the journey. In this episode, we share our personal relationship with enoughness, the comparison game, and finding contentment.
