Cursed Movies: Rebel Without a Cause
The classic tale of teen angst isn’t just remembered as a coming of age drama, it’s also notorious for all three of its leads meeting tragic fates…

Unsolved: The Tube Sock Killings
In 1985 a string of murders in Mineral Washington left police baffled. What initially seemed isolated became connected by a tube sock left on some of the victims. Or a seeming tragic string of unconnected events?

Priest's Assassination Cold Case Gets Warmer with Medieval Murder Maps
This is a tale of two stories, really. One, an unsolved murder from hundreds of years ago fueled by romance, revenge, and politics, and the other, a modern-day criminologist and professor who began mapping medieval crimes to help better understand how the criminal justice system began and evolved. The two stories intertwined when said criminologist began to explore this cold case, and eventually, helped to come up with some resolutions, 686 years later.
Why was John Ford murdered mafia-style in broad daylight in London back in 1337? What was his connection to English noblewoman, Ella FitzPayne, and was she really to blame? Dr. Manuel Eisner's pursuit of answers through the creation of Medieval Murder Maps helped unravel some of these questions that went unanswered for hundreds of years. Join us as we dissect both stories and better understand their intersection of history, crime, and political motive.

Customer Reviews
One of my favorite podcasts.
I absolutely love Ghoulish Tendencies. I was never a true crime fan because most people who make podcasts seem to profit off the pain of the victims and put the one who hurt them on a pedestal. GT seems to be one of the most ethical true crime podcasts I have ever found. They do really thorough research, even into the victims and give us into insights of who they were as a person, like their personalities and their hobbies. They also look past the incorrect “facts” that are often repeated over and over, and correct them when they find it.
As for the paranormal aspect, they go through and research fact from fiction. They look into what happened and what could have caused the haunting, the histories of the haunted tales, and if there is any validity of the haunting claims. If the hauntings are paired with a true crime case, they go into the crime first then onto the hauntings. A lot of their issues with the paranormal community align with mine (anti zak bagans for one) and it makes me really interested in the episodes that do involve the paranormal and often open my eyes to common haunted scams.
The creepy critics corner is another little tidbit i love. They’ve mentioned a couple shows that I am happy that other people have seen and I love hearing about new things for me to watch, especially when it comes to Kim’s 100 days of Horror. I love horror movies, so adding to my list is an amazing feat.
Ghoulish Tendencies is a perfect podcast if you love ghosts and the paranormal, as well as true crime that doesn’t revolve around the killer and helps give voice to the victims, giving them the moment they all deserve. It’s easy to listen to while you’re working or driving home. I couldn’t recommend a better podcast.
Perfect vibe
This show is great! I have tried many spooky podcasts and they are either overly dramatic or poorly researched. I want both the legend and the debunking, or “Muldering” and “Scullying”. Kim and Gabbie are a great match, best I have heard since OG binge mode. Thank you both for the excellent show.
Great Binge
I’m not always a fan of banter but Kim and Gabi are fun to listen to and when I listen to them I feel like I’m hanging out with friends. Their episodes are well researched deep dives that have sent me down more than one internet rabbit hole. I also appreciate the skepticism because although I love a good ghost story and am willing to keep an open mind, I’m definitely more Scully than Mulder! Overall this pod strikes a good balance between true crime and paranormal stories without going veering too deep into the unbelievable.
